no more "color Grandma?" clean-ups. . I bought this for my 23 month old g-daughter because she loves to "color". (The box says 3 to 6 yrs.) She is presently living with me while a home is being built. After coloring on the walls, the play furniture with washables, before her mother was going to never let her color again (!), we agreed that she could "color" if in her high chair. Arms, hands, face later, I considered a chalk board and found this product. Dry erase markers for the white side and chalk for the blackboard. When it came, I ought to have realized how small it would be (writing surface about the size of a piece of paper). I think the picture was fair to exaggerate the size of the eraser, otherwise the small eraser would have given the impression that the lap-top chalk board was much bigger. A bit overpriced- however, what easy clean-up whether we are talking toddler, table or clothes- AND the little one is delighted! What's there to gritch about?

Item is cute and excellent for younger children under adult supervision. You don't want the child to put the chalk in their mouths and you do want to teach them their letters and numbers.

Great idea cheap product. . the marker doesn't completely erase unless you clean it with windex, which defeats the purpose of an on-the-go type toy. We tried different markers too, even the eco-friendly non-toxic ones, and it all leaves behind shadows. The chalk all looks like the same color when used on this board. You have to buy very bright colored chalk as the pastels and standard colors all look white. Also, the cover slides off VERY easily, and just walking while carrying the item will cause the the lid to slide out and all the contents to spill out. A locking mechanism of some kind, even a simple clip, would have been wonderful. My 2yr old absolutely loves playing with this and it really is a fantastic idea. Unfortunately it seems rather cheaply made.

Love it . I got this for my 6 year old twins and they both love it!! They can take it with them on car rides and they don't fight with each other!! It's the best!!
