They love it. . My two daughters love their treasure box. It was a big hit in our household. I am not sure how durable it is but are any boxes for a 3 and 5 yr old. These boxes are probably not age appropriate for them, but they seem to open and close them without problem.

Sparkly and cute! . Santa gave this to my 5 year old for Christmas because she asked for a jewelry box for Christmas. The pictures don't do it justice. It is really sparkly and bright pink and big enough to hold all her treasures. It is much bigger than it looks. I also comes with little keys to keep her siblings out of her stuff. Great little box!

nice gift for young girls . i bought this for a 6yr old girl, along with the matching journal. the box and the journal both have a lock and a set of keys (i believe the keys are interchangeable as the lock is the same on both). chose this particular set because she is into ballet. seemed to be received well (report from the girl's mother). personally the color was a bit too gaudy for me, not the nice pastel pink or disney princess pink, but kind of a neon pink with orange undertone. the lock and keys worked well the few times we've tested it before wrapping it.
