this was a great science experiement for kids..they loved it . these come out almost angelic photos...its so simple for any age 2yr and up to adult. just gather leaves grass flowers lay what u want to shadow on the paper put in the sun for 1 minute and presto u have a beautiful print...we loved it it was a great science experiment.

Very easy and FUN! . I'm a college student and in my art appreciation class we used these in our lesson about photography. A lot of my fellow students don't really enjoy the hands on days in this class but everyone LOVED doing this! It was so easy and so much fun watching the images appear. A GREAT learning tool and tons of fun!

SO FUN you don't realize it's educational! . This is so fun and easy to do. I did a program with 6 to 11 year olds and they loved it, it is so amazing to see what they can do, and all you need is sunshine and a pan of water. It takes just a couple minutes to have your picture develop, depending on how sunny a day you have, so the kids (and adults) get instant gratification. Very cool.

great for 4 and up . this is the 3rd time i have gifted this for a 5th birthday. my four year old loves it as well. all children are inspired and amazed
Interesting . I bought this as a christmas gift for my godchild. She and her sister love doing art projects, and I thought this would be something that was both education and fun. It allowed me to bring a little bit of science to her fun time. Sneaky learning is the best kind.
Solar Print Kit . I guess that I did not understand this kit was not the kit the refill kit would match. Since I can not use this kit with the refill kit I am alittle disappointed. I still have to go out and purchase the plexiglass so that I could us the paper in the refill kit.
Didn't get the kit ordered-just got the refills . I ordered this "Kit" from Amazon and just got the refills, which is just paper and a frame. Wanted the kit with all it said it came with. I see that Amazon is aware of this and is looking into?? I hope they decide to send me the kit I really wanted. Otherwise, good product.
