Great product for body coloring . My daughter got these over a year ago. She loves drawing with them. It's a great product, but the reason for the 4 stars is that they do get on light colored clothing. They're not messy like the other body art products, but if you have light colored clothing on, the colors will rub onto the clothes. However, I've never had any clothing get stained because of the crayons. It all comes out in the wash.

Great ideas but paint smears . I was very excited to see a face painting product that my children could use to paint on each other without water. Unfortunately, the crayons never dry out once applied to the body. The paint remains smeary even hours later and the black and red paints stain furniture and clothing. Ultimately, a good idea, poorly executed.

best face paint kit! . Hi. I saw that this product had only one less-than-stellar review so decided to put in my own two cents.
I love this product. These crayons are so much easier to use than the palette-type face painting kit also available by Klutz. The crayons are easier to control and the pigment is more opaque on the skin. It's also a lot neater to use the crayons since a brush is being dragged from one palette of face paint to another, muddying the colors. My kids (3) and pals liked to draw on their hands and arms and these were perfect for that. I never buy or recommend any other set now. I am so happy I can get them here on Amazon!

Cons Review
Fun times! . Bought this on a whim. It was a great find. My kids love to paint their faces and bodies but I don't like the mess of pallette paints and markers can be hard to wash off. The book has fun ideas for hand puppets and faux jewelery. There is a sharpener provided and the crayons have lasted a while now. I haven't paid attention to the rubbing off and if it has then the kids have cleaned it up or it has been washed out of clothes so I don't see that as a con to the product. The colors are pretty and they are easily applied. The directions suggest lotioning the area before applying as it makes the crayons work better but I know that the kids skip that step usually.
Worth it! . I bought this body art kit over 6 months ago for my 5 year old daughter. Both she & my 3-year old use it often. They love to create & draw on each other. I know when the product is out because the giggling never stops! It is also a great quiet time activity for the oldest! I am now buying a second kit for my niece for Christmas. The crayons wash off with soap & water. I have not had a problem with them rubbing off on the furniture.
