Very Cool . My kids love Magna Doodles, and this is even better. It has a nice crisp line. Not only is it great for play, my older kids use it almost daily to work on math problems and practice spelling. Downsides: it is heat sensitive. You wouldn't want to leave it in the sun or on the heating blanket as we did (worked fine after I changed the batteries). Small particles can get inside the board. Ours has a piece of thread and a small bit of dirt. I cannot see how to clean out without taking it apart. Otherwise a great toy.

Great Toy! If your thinking about it... get one! . I bought one for my daughter(3 & 5) on a whim when a Toys R Us nearby was going out of business. Everything was about 60% off at the time and there were a bunch of these things sitting there while a lot of the other "good" stuff was gone. I didn't expect much, but it turns out this thing is great. I can only think people don't konw what its like. (I don't remember seeing ads for these things). They have an Etch-a-Sketch and several regular magnetic writing boards but this is by far their favorite. The have a lot of fun doodling in the day, but especially when the lights are down or it is dark. It proved to be great fun on a camping trip. A very cool glow. I find myself playing with it and I'm 44. I expect to get a 2nd one soon as this one is taking abuse and the kids don't always share that well.

I would advise buyers to know that this toy is effected by temperature. We left it in our car in the cold and were surprised when it did not work. Once it warmed up it worked like normal though.

Total hit! . My daughter has one and loves it so I thought it would be great for a gift. Gave two as gifts this Christmas and they were a hit! Good quality and value.
Its ok broke within a few weeks . Got this for my son for his birthday, and he loved it, until it stopped working, I dunno if it's because they were pressing too hard on it to erase it or what, but it quit working, and yes, I changed out the batteries lol

doodle . Would like drawing area to be larger. The kids were interested in playing with glo doodle immediately upon opening box.
"play in the dark toy not a bright glow doodle" . This doodle is very "light" ...and I don't mean the color brightness. When you doodle, the lines are not as visible. The background on it is not black like the picture, but clear which makes it more harder to see. Its hard to play with this during the day as the lights are not bright enough to see. So, you can only play with this at night. This isn't want I had expected. Also, Wal-Mart sells this for $8.98 , and I overpaid for this toy.
Definitely fun for a kid but the erase feature doesn't feel sturdy . We got this about a week ago and it made a very nice gift. However, one downside is that the erase mechanism feels very flimsy. After a few uses it sounded like it was a bit strained and on the verge of breaking when we cleared the board. Not sure how long this will last with heavy use, but, for the price, I guess it's fine.
Love it! . My son received Glodoodle for his 5th birthday yesterday. It is so funny to see him go to this toy over EVERYTHING else he also received. He even took it to bed last night and wanted us to just take turns drawing pictures instead of reading stories! He picked it up again first thing this morning and has been going back to it over and over all day. It is kind of addicting. The colors are so pretty and the line is crisp and clear like another review had mentioned. I researched so many different "glow" boards before I opted for this one and I am very glad that I went with this one!! Buy it! You'll like it!!
Glad I bought it! . My kids love this! They are six and two. I know I'm going to have to purchase another one because they are constantly fighting over who gets to play with it. I like that they can push the button thing at the top and it erases. The button on the side allows different lighting for the board and there is even one that flashes continuous different colors while the person is drawing. Great investment and much better than the other five or six magnetic doodle boards we have in the house. Also, this is a great toy for them to play with as we travel and we even take it to church with us. Thanks Amazon for making it available!
