great craft project . My daughter received this kit as a gift (she is 3 and a half). She really enjoyed making these with me. Everything is included, and each girl (and her parts) are individually bagged, which is good, because you can just make 1 at each sitting. She likes looking at them, and sort of plays with them.

This will go on my *favorite gifts* list for 3-5 year olds! . Our daughter received this on her 5th birthday from her sitter. Together they spent the next few days creating all four dress up dolls. It was a fun activity for them that kept them busy for days as they created a doll a day. The dress up girls are sturdy and the pieces that make up the outfit are really cute and well thought out. And because of the quality of the dolls, after the dolls have been created, they can be used as decorations for a girls room - rather than simply discarded as happens with many *crafts*.

Cute but not as easy as expected . From all the very positive reviews, I was ready to love this set. My 3.5-year-old daughter enjoys crafts, and she was excited when she received this set as a present. On the plus side, the set is very cute, and I like how each doll is separately packaged with its own accessories. On the negative side, the instructions for the assembly of some of the accessories are not clear, such as making a paper flower with a doily, and it's definitely beyond the ability of a preschooler. However, my main complaint is that the pieces don't stick particularly well. It's frustrating to glue something, to have it keep falling off repeatedly. It especially takes away from the playability of the dolls once they're decorated. We've only worked on the first doll so far. We'll try using stronger glue for the remaining dolls, so hopefully that will solve at least one problem, so my daughter can play with them more easily.

overall good but ... . My almost 3-year-old daughter and I enjoyed making these craft projects. Actually she wanted to make all of them at once, so I should stop her.;) But only one thing bothered me. The four girls should be different, but mine had two same girls, which means one girl was missing. My daughter wasn't even bothered but I was a little annoyed when I found out about it. So if you recieve this, look for them closely if all four "different" girls are included before you make anything first.

Her favorite Alex Little Hands Craft yet! . My three year old has loved all the Alex Little Hands Craft kits (we've had several), but this one was her favorite! She loved making each girl and we loved that each of them took her a while to create! Great kit!!

Love this! . My three year old daughter loves this! The package contains four self-contained projects. The glue is strong enough so that things stick to the dolls. No complaints.

Great fun for artsy kids . My 2 1/2 year old daughter loved this art project. She wanted to do them all at once. She called them her friends for the next couple weeks and would walk around the house with them. You'll definitely need to help if your child is under 4, but it was a lot of fun. Word of advise, get some sticky glue dots since the glue stick doesn't work for some of the heavier items like purses.

Fun and doable "big girl" activity . My 4-yr -old loved this activity. It comes with 4 paper dolls about a foot tall. I like it b/c the parts are big enough for little fingers to grasp. We received them as a gift and then bought some for gifts too. Great product and nice for a family with more than one kid since there are 4 dolls in one box. Have fun!

Great Craft . For any child who loves crafts, this is a great toy. The dolls are much larger than I thought they would be, and make for a very fun creative play.

Lots of fun for my 5 yr old!! . My mother is very hard to shop for on Christmas and birthdays, so I bought this for my 5 yr old to make for Grandma for her upcomimg birthday. My mother has a collection of wind chimes on her back porch, and my daughter has always loved looking and listening to them. My daughter loved the idea of a wind chime SHE made hanging with the rest. She had a great time painting the chimes. I will have to assemble them for her, but, as the package says they are made for children 8 and over. Overall, we were very happy with this purchase. The only draw back is that the chimes are smaller than i thought they would be, each pot only about 3 - 3 1/2 in diameter. However, for a 5 yr old, they were the perfect size.

I bought a classroom set (15) and the kids ages 6-11 really enjoyed painting it; however, when it came time to string everything together, I had to do it for all of them.

Alright . I thought that there would be 2 for some reason but there is just 1 in a box. Just alright. Would not get again.

A FUN CRAFT FOR KIDS TO MAKE AND USE . We gave this to our granddaughter for her 7th birthday last February. She loved paiinting it and when it was finished, her mother helped her hang it outside near the front door. (The area is a little protected from the elements, but the wind still blows it.) It has been hanging there ever since, taken down only when Hurricane Irene was approaching in August, and then it was re-hung. My granddaughter takes a lot of pride in saying that she made it when anyone comments that it is so cute.

These make great gifts! . My neices loved them. I would definately recommend. They were the favorite gift at the party.

Great gift. . I bought this product as a gift exchange for a handicapped girl and she had fun doing it but her mom is not sure if it will last very long. The strings seem cheap but otherwise it was a cool idea and perfect for a project.

Just as described . I bought this windchime as a Christmas present for my six year old granddaughter so we have yet to open it. But from the box, it is exactly as described. Really cute art project for little ones. Price is right and shipping was quick as always from Amazon :)

Lovely colors . I love windchimes and so does my daughters. My oldest one wanted to make one. Sure I could have gotten a coke bottle and poked holes and tied some strings and found some round metal bars that were small and light, but that would have been ugly. She wanted to make a "pretty" windchime. I found this. She was able to paint it with nice pretty bright colors. I did find that it was a bit hard to do all the string and the windchime does not really make much noise. But she had fun making it and it is very pretty on my back porch. I hope to find more like this but make a bit larger.

Mother's Day gift . Bought this for my 4 yr old daughter to give as a Mother's Day gift to her grandmother. It was easy for her to paint, but hard for me to put together. Just takes patience. Her grandmother really liked it!

Nice rainy day project! . I bought this for my granddaughters and they really enjoyed making it (with my help... they are 4 and 3). It's a good craft project for a rainy day... but don't drop it and don't expect the young kids to be able to assemble it on their own.

These are great substitutes for the Iwako erasers which are pricey . I saw these sets of erasers at a local chain grocery store, and they only carried a few sets so I decided to purchase them here as my daughter loves collecting them. I actually use them as incentives when she does her chores, achieves her reading target for the week, etc. (I place them in a 'reward' box that she can pick from). The quality of these erasers cannot compare to the superior quality of the Japanese Iwako erasers, but at the price, these sets are unbeatable, especially if the ones playing with them are children (I'd recommend ages 5 and up as these can pose a choking hazard). If you are a serious collector, you're better off collecting the Iwako erasers (I admit, I still collect them, lol). These novelty erasers are cute though and my daughter has lots of fun playing with them, together with her little dolls in her dollhouse.

best set so far . The Play-doh breakfast set is the most popular set we own. The food looks close to real and since my 3 children (ages 4-10) love breakfast, they have fun making real looking meals. This set makes a sunny side up egg, with bacon, Canadian ham, toast, a cheese omelet with mushrooms. It makes big brown waffles and many other little items like a block of cheese, pad of butter, and small fruits. We take digital pictures of the best results, so the playdoh can be recycled quickly without tears.

fun! . my 2.5 year old son and i love cooking together and one of our favorite breakfasts to make is waffles! i don't let him near the waffle iron, though, it gets so hot so the play-do version is perfect. this was a christmas gift this year and almost a month later, it has been used several times. the only downside is that, while getting creative and making realistic play-do foods, we mixed the colors together (like for the fried egg; the yellow and white) and now we have a lot of swirled play-do. i guess that's probably bound to happen, toy or not though...

we have a lot of fun together with this toy, which was my original goal. more fun to come, too!

Lots of fun . Nice set and lot of fun and opportunity to let your child's creativity go wild.... be prepare to clean the mess afterwards though :)

A great and fun alternative to magic marker caps! . My toddler LOVES to put magic marker caps on her fingers. Imagine her delight when she unwrapped these Christmas morning, and they are something she can put on her fingers AND color with! Plus, the farm animal faces are hilarious. Fun for stacking not for coloring . My daughter just got these as a birthday gift, and they are so adorable. However, man are they hard to color with! She spent an hour stacking and reorganizing them, but when we went to color with them you really need to press hard to get any sort of color to come out on the paper. The light colors are the worst! Wouldn't buy again . Colors are very light unless you push very hard - not really possible when attatched to the finger of a small child. On the up side my two year old loves to stack them!

Farm Finger Crayons Are A Hit With My Toddler . These crayons are adorable. They have animal faces on them, which provides for a wonderful educational opportunity for toddlers to practice making the animal noises. Also, these crayons are stackable. My son loves to stack them up and then knock them over! Initially I was concerned that the crayons would break as they were constantly knocked over, but I was wrong. They have held up wonderfully. My son loves to draw with these too! They are easy for a toddlers small hands to hold, and they hold up much better than regular crayons. I would highly recommend these crayons.

Cons Review

Fun to stack and play - not good for coloring . Received these as a gift for my two year old. She likes to look at all the different animals and stack them, but the color pay off is very, very limited. They are so faint on paper that we can hardly see them. Even if a two or three year old did have the finger strength to push harder it wouldn't matter, I can't even get them to show up much better when applying adult pressure.

Great for toddler hands and for stacking! . I love these crayons and so does my 16-month-old! I got these for him a couple of months ago and he LOVES to stack them on top of each other and make a leaning tower. The crayons are very durable and withstand him throwing them on the wood floors. None of them have broken yet and he is very rough with them. You have to press down pretty hard to draw with them, but I gave them a 5 simply for their play value as stackers. He LOVES them!

Looks Good But doesn't color properly . i called the pack all the way to india, to be disappointed with the application. The crayons are not smooth when coloring. its very flaxy. I wish i was in US would have been better to send it back.

All around great for little ones . My 2 yr old LOVES to eat, break, throw, and occasionally even color with crayons, so I was looking for something durable. These are great, we have no problems with too-light coloring, but we used white paper, which probably helps. She did manage to bite a small tip off one of them already, but it doesn't affect performance. She loves stacking, coloring, and sorting by color and animal face. We have one broken one, but i am going to try to repair it by melting the break a bit and re-connecting...

I was astounded by the 3D effect this product achieves. No matter what your kids draw, when you put on these special, clear lens glasses - the drawing 'pops' into 3D. Blues and purples sink below the surface of the driveway, reds and yellows seem to float at about mid-calf hieght - with the rest of the spectrum in between.

The net effect is that your kids can actually 'walk through' the floating colors of their art. It is just as cool as it sounds.

Exactly What's Expected From Melissa and Doug . My wife and I work in children's ministry and purchase a lot of craft items. We've found Melissa and Doug products to be some of the best. This frame kit is well made and comes with everything you need. Nice bright colors and glitter. The girls love putting them together and it doesn't take hours to do it. Even the kits come in a nice solid box for gift giving.

Another reviewer stated that she threw the kit in the garbage. That's absurd! I don't believe her.

Cute but not functional :( . My daughter loves painting and crafts so I thought this would be a cute product for her. While the final product ended up looking great this frame does not stand up. The back piece that is supposed to hold the frame up is connected to this flimsy material so if you can actually get it to stand up it slants so far back the picture is practically looking up at the ceiling. I'm going to hot glue some ribbon to the back of the frame and just hang it on the wall.

very disappointing . The quality is very disappointing. I was going to give it to my granddaughter but gave it to the wastebasket instead. Don't waste your money.

Paper beads . My daughter got these for Christmas and also gave them to several friends as gifts. They all love them. Yes, they are paper but the kids love to make jewelry. It is a little difficult to roll them into the perfect bead, but my kids don't know what is perfect and they have a great time making jewelry for everyone (even my husband).

Easy to learn to make . This product is fun and easy to do! The paper designs are awesome. I can't wait to make more of these beads and put together a necklace or bracelet.

Paper Bead Fun! . I have bought 3 sets of these kits for making paper beads with my Granddaughters'. I have 5 girls in two families so had to expose them all to the fun.
The girls are ages 6 to 11 and we all had a ball making the beads first and then making the earrings and bracelets with necklaces too. Glue ran out but was easily replaced and the bracelet thread was in short supply for our needs but that was easily replaced as well. Very inexpensive for Grandma. We just enjoyed the time together with this project. We all loved it!

Ok product . If you are looking to make paper beads, this product is ok. The paper is a little slick, and the roller tool is large. It does not come with a brush on coating, so the end product is not as pretty as other beads.

Big ol' bag of beads . Received the beads a few days early which was nice....although it doesn't quite feel like a pound, but then again, I guess I'd need a scale to get the actual weight. Still, it's a big bag of fun neon beads great for my crazy bracelet making!!! Colors are really vibrant and I can't wait to use them :)

Okay..... :/ . This bag feels lighter than a pound really, also it doesn't really look like a pound. But they are good quality! And for me, the colours are a little too neon. Like the yellow, is a highlighter yellow. Basically, all the colours are like highlighters. Very bright and catches your attention.

Cons Review

Not the best ever but.. . Got these for making kandi, i was happy that they got here fast, the only thing wrong was that their so small! Their not the greatist thing to make kandi with so i wouldnt reccomend this for kandi making. Other than that, these beads are OK.

Fun enough . I bought this on sale for a Christmas Eve activity and my kids enjoyed it. I wish the pages weren't printed back-to-back so you could keep the sticks on one activity without having to take them off 2 seconds later so you could work on the other page. And the packet doesn't come with very many sticks. Now, having said that, it includes paper ornaments you can cut out and decorate and those were a hit!

great activitybook . lots of uses for wikki sticks, great for trying these sticks out (i ended up buying the big box after playing around with these)

Sticker Fun Indeed! . A day in the park with reusable stickers! I was watching a friend's 3 year old and we decided to go to the park. We took along her Enchanted Unicorns stickers and had a blast creating scenes with them. The sticker pack came with 2 folding scenes - 1 for her and 1 for me to play with.
