Skip the broken crayons & wrapper scraps buy these first! . These Melissa & Doug crayons are the only ones we buy! There are at least 3 different color packs, so you have plenty of colors to choose from. No rolling away, no broken pieces, no wrapper scraps and we rarely find bite marks on them... We've tried the other brands and always end up disappointed. It's hit or miss finding these in retail stores, so I usually buy from Amazon.

Very nice crayon strong but not washable . The best part about this crayons, they are super strong. My son throw them on the floor, drop them from a table, etc.etc. By far none of them has broken yet. And the colors from these crayons are a lot brighter and prettier than cayonla brand.
However, this crayons are not washable, at least not to an regular damp clothes wipe. It would be nice if they are, but still these are very very good quality crayons. Love them!!!

Melissa & Doug Jumbo Florescent Crayons Opinions
Color can barely be seen . We have the regular Melissa and Doug crayons and the regular colors 12 pack of the jumbo crayons, both of which are a solid 4 star to me (missing five star because they just don't have that creamy writing feel of the crayola crayons; though they also don't have the smell....).Anyway.The flourescent crayons are a complete waste of money and a source of frustration to both my 2.5 year old, who had picked them out because there were two "pinks"; AND my almost five year old. Even I struggle to get the color to really show up. You can imagine how frustrating that is to kids. Even the darker orange can barely be seen; ditto the green. The blue and darker magenta are okay (saving the collection from a single star).In addition, while these crayons are certainly stronger than the triangular Crayola "equivalent" when dropped on the floor, they're still very easy to break. They're crayons, after all, not markers! In short, I would never buy these for a friends, let alone my own children again.

Cons Review
Fluorescent Crayons Should Glow Under A Black Light . Do not purchase these crayons if you are interested in looking at the finished work in a black light. 4 out of 10 of these crayons are not fluorescent. I bought 6 sets of these crayons for a special art project, and expected all the colors to glow when under a black light. The first crayon on left(yellow) and crayons 6-8(green,blue,violet) do not glow.
