Fun project for kids . We got these for our daughters to make for presents. We did a couple "practice" stepping stones to keep, and then the rest were for grandparents. They did hand prints, scratched out names, and filled in the rest with the glass. There were plenty of decorations for the 6 stones, but the girls didn't make any picture or pattern with them, just filled in the blank spaces around their hand prints. We had leftovers with our kit. The molds were sturdy, the stones popped right out when they were dry, and we plan to reuse them in the future. The stones are nice and hard, aren't flaky, and look like they will hold up well outside. Though called a "stepping stone," it's pretty obvious ours will not be used for walking on because of the uneven surface where they drew their names and some pieces of glass with edges sticking up. I was not really impressed with the paint they threw in. There wasn't much of it, and it was not easy to apply to the stones with the brushes in the kit. After using it on the practice stones, we abandoned the paint for our gift stones. It looked sloppy and the colors were too bright with the more subdued glass. Overall, a really fun project for kids that makes a great outdoor keepsake.

The kids have had a great time decorating them. It was something fun that we could do as a family. They are really easy to mix up and they are dry within a day. The molds that come with it are 7 in. And we also bought a larger one at a hobby store. They will tie in nicely together to make a wonderful pattern on the ground. Can't wait to give them to grandmom! USPS lost the first box, amazon shipped me out another one right away! I have never had a problem like that with amazon. They got it to me the next day! I love amazon! Service was great, product is great, and we will have a great Christmas.
