Aquadoodle is awesome but Moon Dough? . We received a Travel Aquadoodle as a gift recently for our 2 1/2 year old daughter. It has been a HUGE hit. She loves to draw, doodle, make shapes, etc. and it keeps her occupied for significant lengths of time. Also, with water as the only coloring ingredient, this toy really embodies the maxim: NO MESS.
We got this one, the Jumbo Deluxe Mat for Christmas and it is also awesome, including a few stencils, a "paintbrush" and two different sizes of water pens. Hours of endless entertainment without ruined clothes or carpets. Awesome toy.
Our only puzzled expression was with the inclusion of a Moon Dough sample. Really? Why include something that has to stay away from water at all costs with a Water Toy? It took about ten minutes to get water on the Moon Dough since our daughter figured it all went together since it all came in the same box. Moon Dough means it when they say in the directions to "keep away from water." It melts into nasty runny weird goo. Anyway, just really weird marketing to think sticking a non-water substance in with a Water Toy was a good idea.
Overall though, the Aquadoodle is an awesome, stimulating, fun and no-mess toy. Two clean thumbs up!

It's very durable. It came with a lot of accessories, and a little storage spot on the mat. Overall, it was worth it.

Good clean drawing fun! . My husand and I and our toddler LOVE this Aquadoodle Mat! It has a large surface. There is no mess to clean up. It comes with multiple drawing tools and our son likes to use one and give us the other to draw with him. The drawing tools also store in a pocket that is part of the mat. Great for travel too!
Fun Fun Fun . My 21 month year old enjoys doodling on this mat. It keeps him busy for hours. Plus its no clean up, its not messy and I can get things done around the house.

aquadoodle mat . My kids love to draw on the mat or just make the whole thing BLUE...I just hang it up on the towl rack and let it dry...then it is good to go again.
It is what it is . Pretty much a fabric that has a dark backing so when your kids "draw" with water, it shows. True that it is fairly a mess-free toy, so it does what it says, but the commercials definitely do all the selling. The product, with its intended use, keeps my toddler's attention for maybe 10 min.
