Fun and useful . This product would be great for a child who liked hello kitty and was interested in crafts. It teaches kids the basics of sewing and following directions, and after the cushion is finished, the child has a new hello kitty decoration and something to cuddle with. I was able to put this together in about 15 minutes, but it would keep a child occupied for much longer than that. It's not messy; you don't have to deal with cotton. It comes with a fitted pad that you insert after you are done sewing. The cushion pad slips in the back through a zippered opening. This project is easy because the holes for everything are already punched out, so you just put the needle through the right holes :)
Now that I'm done sewing it, I have a new throw pillow for the couch :)

Eh... . It was o.k. Nothing to it really. If you have little ones they might like it. Which I suppose would work out.
