Favorite toy! . I got these crayons for my son's easter basket when he was 18 months old. He LOVES them. Every day he asks to play with his "colors." They do a great job of not rolling away, and apparently they taste good too! The only thing I don't like about them is that they break pretty easily. If he drops one on the floor it is guaranteed to be broken, but he does not seem to mind coloring with parts of crayons.
Crayola Beginnings: Washable Triangular Crayons Reviews
Love these crayons! . We started our daughter with the jumbo crayons at a year old. We bought these for her at about 18 months and she loves them! They aren't as durable as the jumbo, but she has a much easier time gripping these and the colors are better. Yes, they do break - but only after significant wear (and falls). We all enjoy coloring together with these crayons. I would recommend them.
Crayola Beginnings: Washable Triangular Crayons Opinions
Not durable at all . These were the first crayons for my daughter. It seemed like a great idea: Triangular to help with holding and positioning, and washable. They are very washable, but maybe that is why they are so fragile. Just a little moisture and they tend to start falling apart. A toddler like my daughter, who puts everything in her mouth does some severe damage to these things. These crayons didn't last a week with my daughter. I ended up throwing all of the little pieces out. I gave it two stars since they do what they say they do with being washable, but maybe they are a little too washable.
Good crayons . Colors are good and fills in work. Haven't tried washing it off yet. two year old has broken 2 so far but that is expected. The triangle shape does seem to force correct hold.
Life saver but be sure to stock up!!! . Well we LOVE these crayons because they are EXTREMELLY toddler friendly .. can be cleaned off with a baby wipe and the triangle shape is perfect for him to hold on to. The only con is they break REALLY easy - even easier than traditionalcrayons so be sure you buy extras!!

Cons Review
These crayons are terrible . These were the first crayons I bought my toddler. They are marked washable and yes, I am able to remove marks from his play table. Other than that they are terrible. My son is really pretty gentle with his toys and they break easily. They don't retain a point. The colors aren't rich or deep.

They break, they break, they break...I break them, my husband breaks them, my toddler breaks them...

Within a month of regular use we have a stubby little pile of nothing. I know there are good crayons out there. These are not them.
Great starter crayons . I am really surprised at the negative reviews of these, because we love them. The triangular shape makes them easy for my daughter to hold and they don't roll. The colors are just fine, especially for a 20-month old who mainly scribbles and makes dots and lines. We have made many many beautiful drawings with them.

I don't know what people are doing to make them break so easily. My daughter's favorite thing to do is draw. Her crayons get ample usage at least every day, sometimes several times per day, and they get used hard, too. A few of ours have broken, but only after lots of use. We don't treat them like they're fragile. However, she is usually supervised and has been taught not to put them in her mouth, so if kids putting them in their mouth and getting them very slobbery is what's causing the breaking problem, that could be the case. If it is, I don't think that should be blamed on the crayons. They are not designed to be put in your mouth and shouldn't.

The best thing is the washable part, and I didn't even buy them because of that. My daughter made a few marks on the wall one day, and to my relief, they wiped off VERY easily with just a wet rag. I didn't even have to use a cleaner or scrub hard. A few months later, she got some regular crayon on the wall, and it took me a long time and lots of hard scrubbing to get it off, along with a lot of paint. She's actually very good about only coloring on paper, but accidents do happen and kids have to learn, so it's bound to happen once anyways. If you're worried about it, or your little one has a tendency to wander off the paper, I would definitely recommend these to ease your frustration.
