Anne's review . Our 7 year old granddaughter was enchanted with the sewing machine and bead applicator. After a short session of instruction and supervision, she took off on her own and practiced with the sewing machine and the bead applicator. We made a simple doll dress and figured out that one must turn fabric around at end of seam before cutting thread and stitch back along same seam to prevent pulling out the entire row of stitches.

I would very much like to know where one can purchase more beads to use in the bead applicator.

Hello Kitty . I bought this little "sewing machine" for my granddaughters when they come to visit thinking it would be a way to get them started sewing. I was very disappointed with the machine's performance. It did not stitch at all not even a chain stitch and the needle would not stay threaded. Not at all happy with this item.

My daughter loved it... . I thought the price was a little steep for the quality of the toy, but my daughter loved it for the entire 2 weeks that she had it. And then the rabbit chewed the the power cord cable... But I would say that if you are looking for a toy machine to teach the kids to sew its worth it.

Big Mistake . This sewing machine was a BIG MISTAKE. It did not work. It would stitch for about 1" then the thread would come out of the needle. It was hard to rethread. Not fun at all. Purchase was for 8 yr. She was heart broken.

Cons Review

Un safe product . this product has a tendency to tip while sewing. I put my grandchildren on a real machine for only 10 more dollars.

I then didn't have to worry about them getting stuck with the needle when it tipped and they garbed for it. Then they also had enough power to really sew.

First Sewing Machine . When I saw it, I wanted it ...so I bought it for my 9 year old niece. For a beginner sewing machine, I was impressed that it had a foot pedal and that it was a functional (on a small level)sewing machine. It came with projects for beginners to learn basic skills. I was not expecting it to be used to make a wardrobe so, I really liked the simplicity of it and did not have much expectations. I know video games are more popular with kids and she may have initially preferred a DSi but at the end, she seems to really enjoy it and has made some small purses and small quilts. She learned a skill and doesn't realize it. I was nervous about the safety of such a toy. I recommend as a gift for an older child and supervision. Its quite sturdy and performs well. I would rather have bought it at the store and not online but it arrived before Xmas and it was in excellent condition.

Frustrating Kitty machine . This machine is very difficult to thread, and so risks frustrating and "turning" off a potential young sewer. Adults found it hard to get at the needle, removing the needle guard etc. Would not recommend this machine. I will end up teaching my grand-daughters on a regular machine. I recall a jnr. machine that I had as a child, it was user friendly, and this one is not.

Best Hello Kitty All-in-One Scrapbook Kit Reviews

LOVE IT . You never know what you'll be getting with these craft/scrapbooking type kits. Sometimes they come in and don't seem to be more than a few dollar store items thrown into a box. This is not the case with this kit. My daughter has spent hours playing with it. There are so many pieces included and they're all pretty great. Thick paper, nice stickers, pretty ribbons, photo frames, etc.
I'm very impressed and will be looking for another kit made by the same manufacturer for my other daughter.

Adorable product but the glue stinks! . I love this scrapbook because it's the first one I've ever owned. The little papers are just perfect and the stickers are great, though I do wish there were more. My only problem comes from the book itself. If you stick things to the front of a page, you should wait at least an hour before sticking anything to the backside, and even then your hard work might fall off the page. Use your own glue sticks! The one that comes with this kit is not the greatest. Still, I love it!

Awesome gift for little girls . I purchased this for my 6 yr old daughter. She loves it! It is the perfect starter scrapbook for a child that likes to draw, cut, paste, organize, and save everything!

WOW! . This scrapbook kit is awesome. My daughter got this and I was surprised how much came with it, very impressive! It has a lot of accessories. And the main scrapbook, is really nice. It's not a cheap thing that is just put together. It is really nice like I said. It holds up. My daughter was super excited to get this. She is in love with Hello Kitty. This is a must buy for anyone who loves hello kitty and crafty projects. So glad we got this. You wont be disappointed.

Overpriced . Product is very much overpriced relative to similiar products with just 50 less pieces. Other scrapbooks sets with 350 pieces were very inexpensive by comparison. Take time to shop around.

Hello Kitty Rocks Again! . I have 2 people in my family who are Hello Kitty crazy. This sturdy set is the cutest! I can't wait to see their faces when they open their gifts. It looks to be a pretty good value.

Lots of fun! . Many pieces to in this box to create whatever their imagination has in store. She still uses the scissors that came with it. This is our third set for the Hello Kitty scrapbooks and each one was different.
