A classic toy for all ages. . I loved these things as a kid, and I love them as an adult as well. For kids, this toy is great not only because it uses imagination for creating images, but also because it helps to improve hand-eye coordination. For adults, it is a nice little gadget to have around for stress relief and entertainment. Not a lot more needs to be said about the etch-a-sketch. It's fun!In case you don't actually know what this toy does, it is a drawing tool. Pictures can be drawn by twisting a pair of knobs, one which moves the "pen" vertically and one which moves it horizontally. It becomes a challenge to draw a picture without being able to lift the pen away from the image and set it down on another location. Images can be erased by turning the toy upside-down and shaking it a few times, making this a limitless toy which can be used for a long time.

There's nothing better than Etch-a-Sketch . Every human should have one of these. Ideally, every human should have one of these in every size and color available. It doesn't get any better than Etch-a-Sketch. I have several of them in my office, and they're wonderful for long meetings and work sessions.

OK- the bigger one is probably better . I bought this to play with with my 18 month old daughter because she loves the magnadoodle. I of course realize that this is something she'd need to grow into, but thought it would be fun for me in the meantime. The lines are very faint and don't erase very well. I remember the larger version from my childhood being a much better quality. It might just be the size that's the issue.

Fun active durable classic toy! . I have one of these sitting right next to me on my desk at work! I use it from time to time when I feel the need to doodle or just be silly. It's great for all ages and has always been a toy that's well-loved. I've given some to friends as well as mini-gifts for the times when nothing is being celebrated but they need something to cheer them up. I'd highly recommend it!
A Classic - Shrunk . This is the classic Etch A Sketch, but just a bit smaller. Amazon's listed it as an office toy. I'd have to agree with this bacause whenever you're stressed, you can challenge yourself to draw a picture of your boss. It's a really a great deal!
Ohio Art - Lack of Customer Service Care . We ordered multiple (35) Pocket Etch-a-Sketches for my son's birthday party as a 'favor' for his guests. We paid for 2-day Air Shipping to receive the toys well in advance of the party. We called the company after the toys should have arrived to determine their status as no delivery tracking # was attached to our online order. Upon calling Ohio Art during the business day, there was no answer at their customer service or business offices and when we called later, still during the business day, the receptionist indicated there was no one there to assist us at that time and provided no other support, or hope, for us. We have written an email to Ohio Art and still have not received a response. The Pocket Etch-a-Sketches are great toys as we have purchased them in the past for another chilren's party, but from a local company. My only concern for future consumers would be the timeliness and lack of response from Ohio Art.

Pocket Etch A Sketch . I used to keep extra crayons and coloring books on hand as gifts, and sometimes just stress relievers. The Pocket Etch A Sketch is one of my new items to keep on hand. Recently, I have given this fun item to more adults than children. It is a great stress reliever. I have purchased these as graduation gifts for two of my classmates for our upcoming leadership graduation class. A friend recently celebrated his 50th birthday. Since he is an architect, I labeled his gift "50+ Drafting/Drawing Tool." I am currently making a basket of retro type toys for a family. The basket has a few Pocket Etch A Sketches included. Pocket Etch A Sketch makes a good stocking stuffer too!
Cute retro gag gift! . My stepdad has a thing for etch-a-sketches, and when I saw this little one I had to buy it for him for Christmas! He loved it.
Lines are a little small . The lines are little thin, and it takes a lot of shaking to erase, and even then it doesn't erase completely. But it's fun and cheap.
The larger etch a sketch is better . It is difficult to see the lines and to erase the lines. While easy to carry around and nice for a small child, it really does not work as well as the large one.
