horrible and messy edited: still messy but not as bad. . I bought this toy on clearance at Target so I shouldn't complain, i knew there had to be a problem with it. I just came on here to warn everyone else, just as others have. I bought four, one for each child. My son, who is the "artist" went through 6 of the pages after swindling his younger sister out of one of her waxy markers. So then what, he has 10 black colored pages... those aren't 3D.It is frustrating for him. My 4 year old, is trying every other object in the house to get the color off, and the two older children did one page and set it aside. Of course it's precolored pages under the black, but there are outlines to only do part/s of the picture. WE of course would have trouble getting our 6 year olds to color and design there own 3D pictures. I hated the product, but I just had to make that comment. It's similar to the products where you color it with water to get the "precolored" picture underneath, except this isn't water. You can use clorox wipes (or generic) to get the black covering off, but it makes a huge mess. The black comes off table, but not fingers. And it takes 3-4 wipes to remove it all. I actually recommend clorox wipes. It cleans the paper off smooth and shiny. Messy, messy, messy...fortunately it wipes off easily, except the carpet and fingers.added some stars-
