Great early writing tool! . I got this writing book at the Crayola Factory and wish I got more for my 3 y.o. One page is devoted to each letter of the alphabet with uppercase and lowercase on the same page. The first line is a shadow version of the letter to trace. The second line is a dotted-line version, again to trace. The third line is empty space for the child to write that specific letter. Each alphabet page also has pictures of items that start with that letter e.g A had apple, acron, ant, etc. The numbers are set-up different and less featured. One page has a number line of 0-9 following the same type of direction i.e shadow, dotted-line, empty space; there are 4 pages of these number line pages.

Learning is fun . I bought this for my niece and she ahd so much fun learning her ABC's, I thought that it would be a great way for her to learn how to write like she will have to in kindergaten, she will have an advance start in this. I would recommend this product for anyone who want's to give the children in their life a great start in their learning process.

Good for beginners . I purchased this for my 3 year old son to help him learn to form his letters correctly. It was just as I expected, with solid letters/numbers, letters/numbers for him to trace, and lined areas for him to practice.

Its okay . I got this for my daughter who is almost 3 to help her learn letters and numbers. It ended up being quite a bit above her level. Its a lot of tracing and practice lines. I was thinking it would be more of an intro to letters and numbers. Also, it arrived kinda beat up. Not that it really matters because my two year old would probably beat it up anyways.
