Toddler appropriate and great fun...with supervision . Little folks love animals. This pup can be pretend fed, and cuddled, and it holds up, while a mold turns out puppies which are kept in a nursery bed, and fed food prepared in the kibble maker...lots of variation possibilities, such as decorating the pup, making footprints with the pup in flattened play-doh, and as a bonus, the top of the head has small openings where strings of play-doh are pulled through and 'hair' appears, which can be color changed, braided, curled, whatever. Fun concept. Sturdy toy.

great playdoh toy . This is a great playdoh toy. My 2 yr old son loves making dogfood. Definitely one of the better playdoh toys out there.

Loves it! . this was a gift for my 2 yr old daughter and she loved it. It is a mess as play-Doh usually is but it's worth it!
My toddler is enamored . My 2 year old loves this toy. She asks to make purple dog food every day. She loves the dog food maker! I like it too because it makes four shapes of food (oval, star, rectangle, triangle), and I can ask her to pick out the shapes. There is a lot of opportunity for language learning/practicing with this toy -- lots of different items with which to play. My daughter also enjoys making the puppy have play doh hair. She needs help with all of the activities, but it is a fun thing for us to play together. Like a previous poster, I appreciate that it is not too terribly difficult to clean.
Good overall toy . The set is sturdy and easy to use - it is a little limited on what you can do with it but my kids mix and match pieces to have them do more then they were intended. It has kept them amused for at least an hour at a time !!
A Christmas Favorite! . Of all the expensive Bakugans, Zoobles, talking dolls and computerized toys my kids got for Christmas, they spent hours playing happily together with this $5 item. They are 6 & 2.
Its got plenty to do! . My son loves making the kibble for the puppy. There is plenty to do on it from making bones, socks, more puppies, bacon, etc but he just really loved cranking the kibbles. Kibbles were everywhere! That's the only downside! I recommended it to a friend and she got it too. Her daughter loves to play with it as well. You can put playdoh in and it makes a tongue come out as well as hair. It is very cute and not too hard to clean like some other playdoh toys. It comes with all the playdoh colors you need and at a very good price.
