So easy!! So cherished!! Checked dozens before I bought... . I checked dozens of similar products online, in catalogs, and in bookstores before buying. What makes this one totally different than the rest is obvious on the front cover--it's about your kid--not fancy artwork. I love the front cover, cause it's got a safe and perfect spot to showcase a little wallet size picture of every year. My kids are still in lower elementary and I worried about it looking empty during the early years, but they have cutesy little school clip art in each window to fill the space as you are adding pictures--so it always looks full and beautiful. I am always busy--but I love creating memory keepsakes. I look for things that are super easy to use and quick. This has one page of fill in the blanks for each school year including spaces for "My best friends" "my teacher" "my favorite TV show" and a space for their "signature" where you can see the ever changing penmanship and personality style. The topics are also short and easy things to remember if you're getting a late start. It's a great way to keep all your child's school pictures and class pictures together in one place. Inside, you put an individual school picture up to 3 x 5 and up to an 8 x 10 class picture and of course the wallet size in the front cover. Every year has it's own pocket built right in to store the favorite art project, report card, award certificates, or test papers, etc. It's made out of that harder cardstock type paper so it's very durable and can support the pictures and pockets properly. The only thing I have to say negative--is I found it in a catalog for under $10--so look around, it's out there for a great price.

Best School Memories Keepsake Out There! . This is not a toy and doesn't have much educational value... unless you want to educate your 18yr old on the progression of their life :) It's perfect for documenting the important years that tend to get away from us all... The front cover has 14 frames for pictures PK-12. Each page is dedicated to a grade level with things like "Favorite TV Show, Best Friends, Teacher, Favorite Subject etc..." There's a line at the bottom of each page for "How I Write My Name / Signature". There's a pocket between each front and back page that acts as a folder to save things like report cards and miscellaneous. It's a really great keepsake and it's fun to add a new page with your little one. Enjoy it as much as I have... I have 3 little boys and I purchased the first "School Memories" Keepsake through a fund raiser in California and loved it so much when my middle son came of school age I HAD to buy another one for him. **Andi

Perfect for the non-scrapbooker . I really love this book. I am the world's worst when it comes to recording and organizing my children's' memories. This can be done in 5 minutes at the end of every school year to give you a simple snapshot of their life.
best school memories keepsake . I used this book for my younger child's school memories starting in preschool and loved it! It prompts you, or your child, to record their favorite school subject, sport, book, and even movie year to year. If you write neatly there is ample room to journal. You do have to use tape to attach school pictures but with any double sided scrapbooking tape it is very easy and takes little time. There is a large pocket for every year to put some additional pictures, special art work, or other memorabilia for years to come. Every year has room to tape the class picture. When the class picture is smaller than 8x10" I can use the extra room to put other wallet sized pictures. I have done this with dance pictures, sports or team pictures or any other pictures significant to that year.

great memory book . I bought a similar one for my eldest through one of the school catalog fundraiser and was looking for a similar one for his little brother, glad to have found it! Now that my kids are old enough to write they enjoying filling out their favorites of the year.
Exactly what I wanted . My son is finishing 4th grade now and I love this book. I like that it has pockets big enough for regular papers and certificates without folding, and a place for the class picture and the individual picture, as well as a space on the front for a picture for each year, although that is a little tricky to get placed correctly. I am now shopping for another book for my daughter, and so far, I don't see any I like better or as well. I might buy her the same one.
Just what I was looking for. . I purchased this one to replace a different school memory book that I had previously purchased. I really like this one much better because of the cover that highlights the photos for each year. It will be perfect for what I need.
Cons Review
Nice book - but not all I thought it would be . I purchased this book because I like the idea of having a place for the class pictures as well bigger pockets. I received the book and was disappointed in the high school years sharing 2 pages and 1 pocket. I had a book like growing up and that's where all my report cards and awards are. If I had only one pocket for all 4 high school years all of that wouldn't have fit. Again - it's a nice book just a little disappointed in the lack of space for high school years.
Great Keepsake . I've been looking for one of these that includes Pre-K and this one is perfect. There are pockets for each grade that can hold awards certificates, report cards, etc. There is space for writing class information, favorite things about the year, and for the child to write their name. The only thing I'm not crazy about is having to tape the class picture/school picture onto the page - but because of the pockets, little cuts to put the corners in are not practical. Basically, this is just what I was looking for.
