Princess for a princess . We bought this doodle book for my "Princess minded" three-year-old granddaughter and she would probably rate it as her very favorite activity to do. It is totally mess free as the brush is simply dipped into water (or an adult can fill the brush container with water) and then stroked onto the pages. No color comes off the page at any time, so it can be used anywhere without worry and with very minimal adult supervision. After it dries it returns to the original black outlines and the child can happily use it over and over and over. It is recommended for children 3+, but any child capable of scribbling and sitting alone can use it very easily. Amazon's price is very reasonable for these and I suggest that if you have young children that visit, it is a wonderful and clean way to occupy them. I surely wish I would have invented it!

usually great .. but something is wrong with this version . My daughter LOVES these paint with water books. However, this particular book dries even before she is able to finish "paining" the page. This is very frustrating for her. Never had this problem with any of the other of same type books that we've purchased. Not worth the hassle of sending back, but not much fun either. Consider buying another!
