Fun for a boy . We've purchased other Mosaic's prior to this one. What sets this one apart is the non-square shapes and metallic colors. My son who is 7 likes the uniqueness of this set and you can't beat the cool dragons!

HUGE HIT WITH MY BOYS . Since my son is five, I worried if he had the attention span required for this project. But this proved unnecessary since once opened, it was hard to make him stop at just one. This kit comes with everything you need make 4 mosaic pictures that can be hung up to display.
The best way I can describe this craft is that it's like paint by numbers except you place small mosaic tiles on numbered spaces instead of paint. The mosaics are on a pad with paper that needs to be peeled off in order to stick on the dragon picture.
My only complaint, and not worth deducting a full star, is that the mosaic pads are not labeled with numbers. You get a dragon picture with numbers on it to place the corresponding mosaics but the mosaic key only provides a color guide. Placing numbers on the back of the mosaic pad would be perfect rather then guessing. Also, you might need to keep track of the mosaic pads with younger kids in order to preserve every mosaic tile needed to finish all four pictures.
I highly recommend this dragon kit for younger ones since the pictures do not contain as many numbered tiles as others (Orb Factory Sticky Mosaics: Dinosaurs. This is a great art project for boys and I plan on buying more since they have been a huge hit. A great way to spend a rainy day!

Great for Autistics . My son who autistic, and loves crafts. He enjoys the touch and colors of these designs. They are a great balance between simple numbers, and great colors. The sticky tiles are great to touch. He enjoys these picture and spend hours with them.

Fun educational and a great gift! . I love this toy! I bought it for my 5 year old but my 8 year old loved it just as much! Great for fine motor skills, color and number learning and plain fun from a kid's point of view. My only complaint is that Orb doesn't have more designs for boys.
Great fine motor skills toy . Got this for my son for Christmas to work on his fine motor skills and because he loves crafts. He's 4.5 years old and did the entire box in two days and loved it. The dragons are super cool and it required him to match the stickers to the numbers as well as build dexterity. Each picture also comes with a little hanger so they can hang them on the wall when they're done - he loved creating artwork for his room and it was a great thing to keep him busy during his younger brothers nap time :)
Love these . My son has been doing sticky mosaics for several years. He's now 8 years old and he still enjoys them. They are great for those quiet days and something fun you can enjoy together.
Big hit--metallic tiles sharp teeth dragons! . My just-turned-five-year-old spied this hidden away on a top shelf. It was supposed to be a christmas present but he saw it before it got properly hidden away. He did all four of the designs in two days--he became totally engrossed in the work. It is a fine tool for perfecting those fine motor skills that are so important for writing. He especially liked the special shapes and all the metallic stickers. It is challenging to find crafts for boys and these mosaics have been a consistent winner.
Sticky Mosaics . My kids really enjoy doing the sticky mosaics especially on a rainy day. we have several displayed as art work around the house. I have trouble finding these in the store, so great to have access to the via the web. I would highly suggest having a set around if you have kids in the 4-7 age range.
Makes for great gift! . I bought this for my 7 year old son and he loves it! As he was finishing the first one, he already asked me to look for more like products. Getting the paper backing off the foam pieces was a bit difficult so he did ask for my help in that department. Also, some of the square are really close together so it gave him an opportunity to work on his spatial perception. I actually have twin boys so when the other one saw his brother working on it, he wanted to help but the board isn't really big enough for two people to work on it at the same time. My son was very pleased with the way the mosaics looked finished - how they reflected the light - and is eager to figure out where they will hang in his room. I definitely recommend this!
Great 5 year old toy . My boy, who received this for his 5th birthday, absolutely loves putting these together. He has already finished 2 of the 4 in the last 4 days. This is great for a boy or girl who likes crafts, has good fine motor control and can be responsible enough to not loose the little sticker tiles (doesn't really have extras). Highly recommend, good quality and playtime for the price.
