Present for 7 Year Old . I purchased this for my niece's Christmas present. She immediately took the diary to begin decorating and she was very excited to have her first locking diary.However, as soon as we stuck the key in the lock it fell apart. We could not get it back together. I chose to put a small lock I had lying around on the diary instead of returning it so that she could use it immediately. Overall she really enjoyed the diary, the lock was just poor quality.

Great Gift . My girls have several of the sticky mosaic sets. They were hooked by their first gift of the larger pictures which while fun to make wasn't very functional and presented the dilemma of what to do with them! I prefer things that are functional so that we aren't increasing clutter, and this diary was just perfect. It was both beautiful when finished and fun to make. It kept my daughters, 10 and 6 occupied for several hours and resulted in a lovely diary. Unlike the larger mosaic pictures which can become a little tedious to finish, the diary was the perfect size. It really keept my girls engaged. There are extra mosaic tiles included in case some get lost, fall off or are damaged. You just can't go wrong with a sparkly diary that a girl has made for herself!I also want to mention that when we received another sticky mosaic kit with the wrong picture in it, we contacted the company and they had fantastic customer service.
