My Kids Love It . We have owned "Magic Sand" for a long time. My kids like to play with it. I don't like the texture of the Aqua Sand as well as some of the other that we have bought, but my kids can't tell the difference, and it comes in such fun colors. We do not own any of the play sets that go with this stuff. My kids just use a cup and play with it in the back yard. It has great scientific properties associated with it, and it can make learning fun. I also like the tools that come with it. They help you to drain the water off for easy storage.

Aqua Sand - not impressed. . I was excited to get the Aqua Sand for both of my kids for 2010 X-mas. They did play for some time after getting it. More my 6 year old at that time. But the colors got all mixed up, even though I was the one who tried to seperate and put them back in their bottles. The first time both kids played inside. Big mistake. Now I only let them play outside. Last summer my younger child played with it only ones and my older one did not. Not fun anymore because of mixed colors and too boring.

Lots of fun and frequently requested . My god-daughter, at age 10, still requests this product and loves to play with it. The stuff is amazing to watch. It turns into a solid in water but once removed from the water it immediately becomes fine, dry sand. No idea how it works but it does. It is inexpensive and fun. Admittedly, it is sand so get the vacuum out to clean up afterward.

This and the pink set made a great gift for my friends' kids . I gave these and the pink ones (Bead Bazaar Bead Medleys and Bags - Chica Medley - Purple) Bead Bazaar Bead Medleys and Bags - Chica Medley - Purple for three of my friends who have kids. They all say that the kids enjoyed them. Now, maybe they were being polite, but I tell them to be brutally honest with me. It seems to be fun until they have made their beads, and then that's that - the activity stops there. I don't think this is reason to penalize the item a star, so I give it five stars. It have one of my friends at least one evening of peace - her kids didn't fight with each other at all the night that they received these!

Big is not really that big . The product came in the mail as promised, was packaged well and arrived quickly. I was expecting the product to be much larger, in that it is only about 2 inches tall (a little smaller) and about 8 inches wide. I was expecting GIANT and I feel it is just big. Other than that it is a good product. My daughter has taken it to school and says that her friends all love it.

FOR BIG MISTAKES ERASER Reviews
Not a real eraser . I bought this for my 8-year old for the start of school and she and I were both really disappointed with the item. This thing is only about a quarter inch thick, it is essentially a big floppy sheet, about the thickness and shape of a typical checkbook. It looks nothing like those typical "pink" erasers one can buy, it is made of the same material as the Japanese erasers (the ones with all the various shapes) and not the typical pink erase material.

I suppose it might make a neat party favor at a birthday party though. The kids would probably enjoy that. I will try and make a balanced review! However, as an actual working eraser, or as even as a "joke" stand alone item, this product is fairly disappointing, it is just way too floppy.

"For Big Mistakes Eraser" is intended for just that-Big Mistakes-"Big Mistakes call for Big Measures"... I sure couldn't find this eraser as a comical present during the year to give my younger twin brothers. But when I discovered this, I was astounded. The product packaging made the product look bigger on screen, however, it is pretty big. It does the job it was intended to do, and no other stuff. It doesn't leave that big of a mess, however, especially when the amount of mistakes these boys had made, should have worn this product down so much, the eraser should have been spread out all over the table. This product might be a good thing to use if you are a technical drawer, but it's all your opinions that will make the sale possible.

Father-in-law . I have one of those father in laws who never make a mistake so this was the perfect gag gift for him

Flimsy . This is a thin eraser, it is very flimsy. Not worth the money. It broke when used the second time.

no big thing . This was a good price and was shipped immediately. The eraser itself is standard and would be better if it was MUCH bigger.

Not the size and quality I expected . This eraser was thin and almost two dollars more than it was worth. I could have bought a more durable (thicker and bigger) one at the dollar store.

It's okay . The eraser is really fun to show off because of it's size but as for it's quality, well it's just not that good of an eraser

Big cool and does erase BIG mistakes! . I bought it for my two litle girls and we absolutely love it! We definitely don't waste time trying to find an eraser during homework time. Also, if its shared in the classroom, they know who it belongs to, LOL! They're pretty durable and not too messy. I'm going to purchase more as it will be an ice breaker for my girls at their new school. All in all, I give it 5 stars! (ps: I plan on giving it out as an comical award at work.)

Life Saver in the Car! . I bought two of these for my two girls, now 2 and almost 5 years old. We've had the Doodle Pros for at least a year now, and they still work even having been stepped on and used almost every car ride (daily!). These are totally worth the money. A bonus: our van isn't totally trashed from the girls eating to keep entertained, which used to happen before the Doodle Pros.

Great for the kids . This is a really nice doodle board that my kids use all the time in the car. I had thought it would be slightly larger than what it actually is, but the kids still love it. Their drawings are improving all the time. I have purchased similar doodle boards before and will continue to purchase them as they go bad. They don't actually break, but after awhile (many months of using)the erasing ability of the slide stops working and the board stays darker and darker until it's really not useable anymore. This is a really good toy for kids who love to draw.

Doodle Pro . My 2 yr old got the travel doodle pro for xmas and has used it. It writes ok - I've definitely seen worse. This is a good size for a smaller child to carry around. We plan to take it on road trips as it's not huge, and it's not tiny. Kind of too big for a diaper bag, but good for the car. It's very basic, but that's what we wanted. The plastic, pen, and slide eraser seem to be pretty durable so far. I would recommend this product if you want basic writing.

Very nice for traveling . We recently traveled to Europe with our 18 month old daughter. This toy kept her entertained for hours on the plane, at the hotel and even at restaurants. Know that we are back home she still plays with it, specially while eating on the high chair.

Great for road trips... much more versatile than the original . Got this for my niece, but it's so much fun I wanted one myself. Such a nice improvement over the original design with the knobs... curves and diagonal lines are easy! Feels like using a mouse or pen to draw with. Also seems a bit lighter weight than the original.My only minor complaint is that the controls are a little stiff at first.

Wonderful Project . I ordered this for my 6 year daughter who wanted to scrapbook. This item was wonderful. It had all the essentials to get started. She loved the included pages and cut-outs. She worked on it for hours and continues to look for more pictures to add. I was doubtful in the beginning but it is a well thought out gift for anyone who enjoys doing arts and crafts. Totally Me - It's A Girls Life - All Occasion Scrapbook Kit Reviews
Great product awful manufacturing . We just received the Totally Me: It's a Girls Life scrapbook kit today, and while I love the designs and components (the product picture is pretty accurate), the plant in China that manufactured the product must not have any quality control standards whatsoever. The cover (thank goodness it's laminated) had 1.5-inch-wide smears of glue (thank goodness it's water-based) all over: along the bottom edge, and in swatches 3 to 5 inches long above and below the frame in the middle of the cover. It took 3 damp paper towels to clean it all up.

Also, about 60%-70% of the punches that came with the kit are unusable --- it looked like whoever packed it just took a handful of those babies and forcibly shoved them into a flat 60mm x 90mm bag, crumpling the majority. For those seasoned scrappers who have the speech balloon (these were the best), butterfly, splat, square, circle, flower, star, starburst, and heart punches, this might not be a big deal, but it's definitely not fun to explain how some people don't do their jobs to the best of their ability to a young girl who's so excited about having her very own scrapbook goodies and whose mom doesn't have the aforementioned punches to replace the ones that are too creased to be used.

Here's a list of the contents from the box:
- 1 12" x 12" acid free postbound scrapbook
- 15 12" x 12" white paper
- 10 12" x 12" colored paper (5 pink + 5 purple in the page protectors, but the kit we got also had 1 each of yellow, pastel blue, and pastel green plus an additional pink)
- 6 12" x 12" patterned paper (all great contemporary girly designs)
- 24 die cut accents (cute designs; coordinates well with the patterned paper)
- 100 punches (about 150 were actually crammed in that bag, but only about 40-50 were usable)
- 720 stickers (the sticker sheet we got actually had 900 (30 across and 30 down) 7-8mm stickers)
- 24 die cut photo frames (they're actually the leftover paper that's around the 24 die cut accents above)
- 1 template (not rigid, more like those frosted plastic report covers, but has great patterns)
- 35 colored borders (on 1 sheet, 8 different colors in 2 designs, pre-perfed, separates easily, each one 6mm wide, except the die didn't exactly match up to the print)
- 10 title diecuts (Celebrate, Friends, Happy Birthday, Happy Holidays, My Family, Pary, School Days, Special Times, Vacation (x2) in different fonts; wonderful color mix)
- 50 captions (speech balloon punches, some on heavier paper --- included in the packet of punches above)
- 25 page protectors
- 1 deckle edge scissors (we received pinking shears instead)
- 1 acid free glue stick
- 1 acid free gel pen (we got a medium point gel pen with indigo ink that writes really smooth!)
- lettering guide (most likely the 8" x 11" sheet of purple letter stickers)
- instruction sheet

Overall a wonderfully designed product but woefully manufactured and packed.

Rev. Sandra Daniel . After looking at several examples of photo albums for my seven year old granddaughter, I finally settled on this item in spite of its one mixed review. I find it delightful and so will my granddaughter! It has lots of variety and will appeal to her creativeness. It's also a comparatively great buy for the price.

Another GREAT toy from Melissa and Doug! . I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughters birthday. She loved it!! I thought it would be something for us to do together and altho it is, she has a great time all alone! I came visiting a week later and i had 3 hand done necklaces waiting to wear! She was very proud! It's now a few weeks later and i'm still wearing the ankle bracelet she made for me!! Very sturdy beads and lots of line! Do not hesitate it's really a wonderful toy and fantastic for hand/eye coordination. Plus tons of fun for all!

Nice gift . I gave this to my 6 year old niece for Christmas. She seemed excited when she opened it. I thought the colors were a little dull when I first saw it but she was happy with it.

She loved it! . My niece loved it! The only thing I would have wished is that it would have some kind of closure on the string that lets the kids put the beads on but they can close instead of just tying the ends of the string together to make the necklace. Very cute set. . Gave this set to my 5 year old niece for Christmas and it was a hit. Very cute. I would buy again and might do so for my own daughter next year.

Good product . Kit has a large number of attractive wooden beads; they are big enough for little fingers to handle. As well, the holes in the beads are not too small; my four year old could string the beads on without difficulty.Toy is good for encouraging hand-eye coordination as well as fine motor skills. It can also be used to empahsize hte use of patterning. The wooden beads appear quite durable. I do wish that there had been more string included - more colours and of various lengths.

cute but not enough string . beads are cute, strings come with plastic on the ends for easier stringing, which is a nice touch and makes it MUCH easier for little hands, but there just isnt enough string in the kit.
