Great Fun for Kids . This craft kit is wonderful for kids of all ages. It comes with tons of materials and they really enjoyed creating cute and unusual animals. The only thing that would improve the kit would be including more animal cutouts and better crayons. The crayons are very waxy so not good for coloring and the few cut outs that came with the kit were done in only two sittings - although we had tons of decorative materials left over. Even the ability to order a refill kit would be an improvement. Otherwise, this is a great product and the kids had lots of fun with it.

Great variety . My 2-yr-old and 4-yr-old had fun with this, and it kept them busy. If you have more than one child who will be playing with this, I suggest you pick up an additional glue stick so they do not need to keep passing it back and forth. This would be a great gift for a child's birthday, to keep on hand for a rainy day, to put in the suitcase for summer vacation for moments of down time, or to take to a relative/friend's house to keep your child occupied while you relax.

Buy a different Alex set!!! . This set is sooo disappointing! I love the other Alex kits, specifically the bug set and sea critters lacing set. This one just stinks!
First of all, the different animals are not divided into kits, and no instructions are provided. So you get a box of a lot of pieces of random colored paper, tissues, googly eyes, stickers, feathers, pipe cleaners, etc, but no clue on how to use them. You end up with a small child grabbing at everything and making a random critter with a huge mess.
The other Alex kits that divide into separate sections are much better for a busy mom. Also, note that once this box is opened, there's no way to organize it all.
The stickers in it are like superglue, there's no way to reposition them if the kids stick them to the wrong spot, which is sort of likely for this age, so things just go wrong once you open the box.

Tons of fun at a bargain. . My 2 1/2 yr old has had tons of fun with this and there's still so much left to do. The possibilities are endless. Top quality products. Comes with big glue stick and really cool crayons that can be used for a LONG time. Well worth the money.
Money Well Spent! . This is a great purchase for my 3 year old daughter. They have tons of craft supplies inside including feathers and buttons and a huge glue stick. She always asks to make another craft with the collage farm. We even hung one of the animals she made on her wall. I normally don't leave customer reviews but I just had to with this one!
These are amazing little kits. . Everything is packaged in separate projects, very well organized. With very little supervision my 6 yr. old was able to put these together. Great rainy day or daddy-child projects.
Entertaining . The product came in the mail fast. It was exactly what I had envisioned. My sister said my neices have had it out a few times for different projects.
Cons Review
Another great craft by Alex . Bought for preschooler. She loved it, was fun and easy to use, and all supplies are included (including gluestick!). Another fantastic set by Alex. I highly recommend all the Alex sets for crafty preschoolers.
Fun for 3yo not so great for Mommy . My 3yo absolutely loves this! She's not ready to do it on her own, so this is something that we do together. Here's a list of pros and cons about My Collage Farm.Pros:

What it has is a small square paper that shows the pig before decorating it + crayons and glue + squiggly eyes, hat, button, pipe cleaner, and crepe paper = decorated pig. The decorated pig in the instructions has a whole lot more on it that what was shown in the "instructions." And how do they get the plastic button, googly eyes, and pipe cleaner to stay on with a glue stick??? I'm still trying to figure out what will make those things stay on without making a mess and making the pipe cleaner stiff from the glue.

But the things pictured on the box aren't necessarily in the box, and there are things in the box that aren't pictured on the box. I realize they must be trying to help develop creativity, but I'm one who likes to have instructions to follow.
*The box is a tiny bit too small for the animals, so they end up a little bent at the edge.
*Not at all fond of those finger crayons. They don't color well. The colors are not at all vibrant. And if your kid has sensory issues like mine and mouths everything, all it takes is one little bite to break the tip and expose the finger. And then it's hard to color with.

Not what I hoped for. . Over priced for what you get. More cardboard animals would be nice,but the product was very cute and entertaining.
