Cheaper than the Iwako erasers . I saw these sets of erasers at a local chain grocery store, and they only carried a few sets so I decided to purchase them here as my daughter loves collecting them. I actually use them as incentives when she does her chores, achieves her reading target for the week, etc. (I place them in a 'reward' box that she can pick from). The quality of these erasers cannot compare to the superior quality of the Japanese Iwako erasers, but at the price, these sets are unbeatable, especially if the ones playing with them are children (I'd recommend ages 5 and up as these can pose a choking hazard). If you are a serious collector, you're better off collecting the Iwako erasers (I admit, I still collect them, lol). These novelty erasers are cute though and my daughter has lots of fun playing with them, together with her little dolls in her dollhouse.

We now own series 1 and 2 and she is really excited for series 3.
