Nice for the price . I have used Sakura, Copic, Faber Castell and Pentel brush pens and I think these stack up very well against all of them. Inexpensive too!
I compared the black pen with my Copic brush pen and the Prismacolor was just as dark with very consistent ink flow.
The Sakura brush pen was the worst of the lot.
The Pentel was very dark, but too wide for detail work and too much ink came out if you hesitated at all in the stroke.I prefer the thinner tips on the Prismacolor brush pens for detail work and Japanese kana.

Good if a little bit short lived . I don't know if I used the black one a lot or what, but that one ran out pretty quickly. The other markers have not run out and honestly it's a good set of markers! Cheap too (especially when you consider that they are PRISMACOLOR) So... pretty good overall for detail work... not entirely sure they should be used for large pieces

Great price good markers . When it comes to artist markers, you can't go wrong with prismacolor. They blend well,go on smoothly, and dry past. If you are looking for a seller marker set, these are wonderful. Plus, they are seriously discounted here.

Great Marker . My husband asked me to buy an oil based paint marker and I didn't have a clue what he meant. Then I found the markers and couldn't believe how much they cost. He said "Get it and you'll see". I bought the marker, gave it to hubby and he started marking everything from the pool pump (where stickers were placed to designate recirc, waste. etc), plastic buckets, cables, hard drives. I later noticed that when I washed items labeled with this marker the writing didn't fade or change at all. Even the dishwasher didn't faze the writing on the plastic buckets. I'm sold, I found the marker in his drawer and use it on everything. The tip is very precise. I can even read my own writing. I still own sharpies but I don't use them anymore. This marker has been worth every penny we paid for it. We have owned it for several months and it doesn't show any sign of drying out or running out of paint.Buy it, you won't regret it.

Great very bright opaque good bold width . I've used about 40 of these markers so far in my business. I used to use the Sharpie silver/metallic ink markers (non-paint), the ones that look like normal black sharpie markers. Those work, but dry out quickly. When you first open one, the mark is bold - but after a small amount of use, the ink is faded and not as bold. A bit like those old crayola markers that faded if you drew too fast.These paint markers are completely different. Much brighter & shinier, they actually look like silver on black paper. The bold width is good, very think lines (but still very easy to write with). You have to pop the top, shake them a bit, then keep depressing the tip on paper till the ink flows. I've not had any trouble with them leaking or spotting - the tip seems to hold the ink well, thank goodness.These are great, and I'll be using these continually for quite a while. Works out to about ~2 per marker here, which is much better than in store or in smaller quantities.The "thin" version is just as good, but with a thinner line and much less paint. I recommend these instead unless you're doing fine work.

Cons Review

Leaky Marker . When I received the ordered markers, I tested them right away and they appeared to work fine. When I actually went to use them about 2 days later, the paint ran right thru the marker and puddled on my picture... Not trusting these paint markers anymore, I replaced them with regular sharpie markers.

Vivid easy to use paint pens . I'm using these to decorate my office wall before it's torn down. The green Xmas tree came out bright and smooth. The yellow star on top, along with blue, red, and white ornaments are all brilliant.

This was my first experience with paint pens, so I can't compare except to the Sharpie fine-points I got (in orange and brown, which aren't included in this set by uni-Paint). So far, no major differences besides the wider tip side in the uPs.

They haven't gotten all crummy and hard to use like I expected. They're still running and I have no idea of the capacity in these little suckers.

The paint's bright though! It really comes out gorgeous, even on non-white surfaces. The red looks pink at first blush, but after it dries it ends up a solid red-red. The blue is... I'm not sure of the exact shade and don't have pantone cards, but it comes out sharp and the lines are thick and full. I'm extremely pleased with the output from these pens.

yay for art supplies! . These I've had longer than the brush pen, but have the same happiness level for! They are much sturdier than I had expected they'd be--I'd used writing-level pens for some things, and I sort of broke off the little plastic tip?--and I don't have to hold them a certain way to get them to work!

Great pens nearly waterproof! . I had initially purchased the Sakura Microns per advice I was given by card makers whom claim it works great to fill in missing lines from rubber stamps and would be waterproof. Unfortunately, the Microns did not live up to its waterproof claim. These Prismacolors claim to be "water-resistant" and held up much better. There was minute bit of bleeding, but nowhere near the amount the "waterproof" Microns. I am very happy with this product.
