Great Item! . My daughter has some problems with fine motor and I think this is great for her, it would be very hard for her to make a friendship bracelet the old fashion way, she would have a hard time keepting the strings in order but the "wheels" that come with this kit make it so easy for her and I'm sure the crisscross action that she does with the strings help with her cordination. The only problem I have noticed is the colors on the wheels is starting to wear off after she has made only 2 bracelets.

Not that great. . This product was less than what I expected. As far as craft kits go, this one is cheaply made and difficult to use. My 13 yr old daughter, who is pretty "crafty", could not make one decent-looking bracelet with this kit. Save your money and go to your local craft store to find something better.

Very fun to make at any age . I am 29 years old and wanted to create friendship bracelets for my friends as a Christmas gift. These were super popular when I was in grade school so I thought the idea would be nostalgic and heartfelt. My friends LOVED the bracelets I made and are wearing them everyday. I had a blast making them and once you figure out the pattern on the wheel, they are super easy to make. Now trying to figure it out the first time is a little tough but if an 8 year old can figure it out then adults should be able to as well. I bought a 2nd kit with new patterns and am still making them!

perfect . I got this for my 10year old. She just got her first AG doll and wanted accessories. This was perfect. She only needed a little help with threading the needle, but did the rest on her own. She went to bed early so she could get up early the next morning to sew her bears. Hope to find more craft things that keep her so occupied and are at her skill level.

Sew Cute! . These teddy bears are adorable and easy to make with a little times. The larger teddy bear is actually a lot bigger than I thought it would be and if you have the American GIrl dolls, the smaller one is the perfect size and proportion. I found the little flowers on their heads very difficult to put on and the needle wouldn't go through the sequins, so I just left them off. I think they look better that way anyway. There's a little pocket in the front of them that can actually hold a small object if used gently without tearing it. Recommended.

Great beginning sewing kit . My 10 year old daughter received this for Christmas and she was able to understand the directions. With very little supervision she was able to complete this project. We were both please at how cute the finished project was. I would highly recommend this product.

Fun to make! . A great craft! Nice quality, easy for a child to make it without too much of adult's help. Very rewarding! The final pieces are attractive. My girls, ages 7 and 8 had a lot of fun doing this craft and are asking for more! We did a few of the American Girl crafts. All are of high quality, attractive and get a lot of use. I highly recommend this brand.
It was missing one small piece but we managed to find something else to replace it and make it 'special'. At first my girl was very upset about the missing piece but I explained to her that this isn't anything to be upset about - you can fix it and make it unique by using something you can find around the house (we had some left over felt flowers and buttons from other craft projects). Adding extra things to this craft made it that much more fun!

simple and cute . I am glad I had read the reviews prior to putting this on my 5 1/2 yr old's wishlist. It is a simple craft, perfect for little hands, no glue, lots of color combinations. I do think I could make these ribbon sleeves on my own, but it's a good start for her colorful wardrobe. My daughter just needs me to start the sleeve on since that's hard the first time, other than that, she can quickly finish a cute look.

Worked wonderfully! . Decided to get these as opposed to the more expensive crayola ones....and they did not let me down! We used them to decorate aprons for my daughters 5th birthday (we made individual pizzas for our meal) the aprons ranged in color from a dark blue to yellow and these markers showed up well on all the aprons. There was virtually no mess as well, with girls from 4 to 13 using them we had no problems! Definitely worth the money!

Nice product! . Bought these for kids to decorate their own pillow cases at a pajama party, and they worked great. I have only washed the pillow case twice, but so far the drawings have held up. Nice inexpensive activity for kids. I also just used these at my sister's baby shower for guests to create onsies for the baby, and this project was successful as well.

not worth the money . The paints included do not wash out of fabrics and leave permanent stains. Plus they are watery. The brushes work just ok. The shaped sponges don't work at all. I am very disappointed in this item.

So much fun! . We got a screaming deal on this for our almost-3-year-old daughter for Christmas. It's brought so much joy with all the creative ways to play! I love to see her play with a toy that doesn't require batteries. :)We haven't used the paint part yet (still using up some other paint) but the sponges were fun and encouraged creativity. They also cleaned up really easily with plain water. My daughter immediately loved all the colors and recognized many of the shapes (some are more obscure, like dinosaurs). She noticed the different textures of paint that the sponges made, vs. the rubber shapes and the plastic ones, and she really enjoyed the sensory experience.
