Create beautiful and amazing designs with your Spirograph gears. Choose your own pens and paper. Then all you have to do is put a sheet of paper on the magnetic board, use the magnets to hold the paper in place and put the tip of your pen in a gear. Keep going until your Spirograph design is complete and then put your pen in a different hole or gear for a brand new design. When you're done, store everything neatly on the back of the board. The magnetic board and magnets hold everything in place while you create fantastic spiral designs on paper. Clip the gears and their frames in their spaces on the back of the board. The magnetic board comes with 3 magnets, 3 frames, 7 gears and instructions. It does not include pens and paper. Warning: Small parts can present a choking hazard to children under 3.

Fun . Bought this toy for my 6 yr. Old. She played it for hours. There are slots on the back to store the pieces, and the magnets really help her hold the paper in place so the designs come out perfectly! No batteries, that's always a plus for me! We bought a set of gel pens to use with this, but regular pencils or colored pencils work well too!
Blast from the past great for now and forever! . My 7 year old picked out a box from Barnes and Noble called "The Art and Science of Spirals." It was cheaply made and really hard to use, but was still enjoyed. The instruction book that went with it was good and educational. We picked out this Spirograph off Amazon and it was a huge hit. It works very well and seems durable. Wish it had more comprehensive instructions and design suggestions; for adults nice to have the instruction book from "The Art and Science of Spirals" around. My two sons just had a too-big combined birthday party and they prefer this Hasbro Spirograph over most of their mountain of toys.Also, even thought about buying antique copies of the original Kenner Spirograph from 40 years ago. The original version appears by report to have more options and be superior to anything currently on the market. However, the internet has beat-up antiques for $80 to $100, and makes the Hasbro Spirograph look like a reasonable second-best.Feel am a a little nuts over Spirograph toys. However, says how much fun we've had with the current gadget.
Imagination gift. . Bought this for my 5-year old granddaughter for Xmas. She has a gift for art and thought this would expand her vision for other possibilities of creating. Good product and fast shipping. Thank you.
The New Spirograph . When I ordered this, I was expecting the Spirograph of my childhood filled with different rings and circles, but this one is different. I see that it has been updated by using magnets to hold the template in place and you are now able to make different shapes. It does an ok job, but it does shift a little if not careful. But that was a problem in the original version, so no complaints really.This game is great for kids. My 3 year old and her 6 year old cousin LOVE the designs they can make, especially when you use different colored ball point pens, and it has provided hours of fun. It also teaches the kids how gears work, somewhat. Overall, this is still a great toy for kids and it brought back a lot of great memories for me.
big improvement over when I was young . I used to play with Spirograph when I was younger, so Santa brought it this year for my 5 year old. He is really into drawing and writing so I thought it would be perfect. This new version is really nice with the magnets that hold the outside in place when you spin the circle around. Big improvement. It is a little hard for my son to spin the wheel around and keep it on the outside to make the proper design, but he just turned five, so he will grow into it a bit. So far so good. Worth the money for a quiet, busy toy.
Fun for a 7y/o and adults . We've only had this for a couple days but my daughter loves it. I just wish it came with gel pens. I knew before I bought it that it didn't.
Love it! . Yippee!! The Spirograph just arrived and I opened it to check to see how sturdy the toy seems... the board feels very sturdy as do the frames and gears, the storage space on the bottom of the frame is a great idea. I can't wait for Christmas so my daughter can open this and I can play with it! the magnetic pegs to hold the frame on the board and paper seem like a stroke of genius, I know my daughter will love this as much as I did (do)!
This is not your father's spirograph . Shoddy construction, difficult to use, magnet concept of attaching pieces to board is beyond lame. This is nothing like the Spirograph game we had when we were kids.
Wouldn't buy it again . I bought this to keep my daughter entertained. She loves drawing and arts and crafts (she is 5) and this kept her entertained for less than 5 minutes. I remember how much I enjoyed making spirographs as a child, and was greatly disappointed when my child thought this was dull.
