Very pleased... . I bought this item for our niece, and I didn't bother to read the dimensions. I was pretty surprised when it showed up, because it's very large! I flipped through the pages and I was very pleased. The book contains plenty of stencils, to outline the clothing, accessories, etc. Then the child can decorate to his/her tastes. It also includes stickers and lightly drawn pictures of Barbie, over which the child can apply the stickers, then color and enhance. Just throw in a package of colored pencils and you will make their day!I don't believe this items would be a good choice for younger children, despite the assertion that it is for children of age 4 and older. The stencils have smaller areas, which could be frustrating for younger children. Plus they are lightweight, instead od being thick and hard, which could be difficult for children with less dexterity. I would recommend it for age 7+.

Wow this is a huge item! . Purchased for my granddaughter's 7th birthday. She loves Barbie, loves art and drawing, loves stencils, loves fashion, so this is a perfect gift for her. This is a HUGE tablet, and well worth the price. Pretty Barbie rubber band around the entire book to hold everything in place. I love this item and I know she will too. I think the recommended age is 4, and to me, that is quite young. I would think 6 or a very talented mature 5 year old.

Awesome . My 6 yo granddaughter absolutely loves this. It has kept her very entertained and busy. It is definitely something I would not purchase for a younger child. She is very calm and careful with her things. I believe little girls up to 10 yrs would love this, some older kids as well, if they like this kind of thing.

Hours of fun with Barbie . My granddaughter (age 7) had no idea she was getting this gift. She loves to draw and color and this is a good use of her talents. She liked it a lot.

Great! . We purchased this easel for our 3 1/2 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it! We have it to where she can only use the chalkboard side freely, and only under our supervision can she use the dry-erase side. We put it to a lot of use now during college football season... we bring it out to the living room and keep track of the scores. We can watch the game, play with her and she can practice her numbers all at once. It is very sturdy and we highly recommend it!

This is Huge! Great Deal My daughter loves it! . I had seen the smaller verison of this sketch pad set at the store and almost bought it. When this set was on sale for only a few dollars more I decided to buy it. Im so glad I did. It is almost 3 times as large as the smaller one, it is almost 24 inches in length. It opens and has large blue stencils of just about everything monster high! Some of the pages come with preprinted monster high scences some are plain. My daughter was so happy with this. She has spent hours with this and her friends love it as well. My daughter loves monster high and isn't the best at free hand drawing so the stencils and preprinted pages are great for her. Her best friend who loves to draw still uses the stencils and the blank sheets.

WOW! . This thing is HUGE; it is really big. I didn't read any dimensions before I purchased it so I thought it would be beneficial to point out that it is over 15 inches "tall" and just 3 inches short of 2 feet long. It's sturdy and as mentions, it tucks everything away nicely with a big rubber binder.Keep in mind that with this a child can't tuck them self away and use it. They can't sit with it tucked on their lap. Make sure they have plenty of room on the floor, or the entire table to set this up for use. The Design Dolls are around 12 inches in length, if that gives a visual on proportions. It can also be a difficult thing to store away since it doesn't fit into any drawer; ours is leaning against the bookshelf.It is sturdy and a worthwhile purchase and it is of course something I would recommend, based on my 5 star review. I was just in awe when I opened the box and took it out. It was just like the other design books my daughter has, but on steroids.

Nice buy for Monster High Fans . We got this for my 8 year old's birthday. She loves Monster High and drawing/sketching. This was a perfect gift for her. She's already had countless hours of fun with it. Plus it's still completely durable with her two year old sister tugging on things with it. :)

Daughter Absolutly LOVES the Set! . First of all, it says (ages 7 or 8 up I believe), my daughter will be 6 in February, so you known your child best as I do mine, and she is great with this. The characters of Monster High are drawn out on the sheets, not as thick as coloring book pages and its a lot harder to stay in lines, so if you have a good colorer, then you can determine the age and how well they will do, like my almost 6 year old with this set does fine and so on. I was surprised at how BIG it is, like the GIANT coloring Books, that is how big these pages are, she loves it! It has a ton of stickers and stencils, and her "favorite" part, she did say this, lol, was the decorated Monster High rubber band that goes around the whole thing to hold the package together between uses. It IS very cute and the decor on it themed, she adores it! She does very well staying in the lines, honestly MUCH better than I thought she WOULD do, given her age and experience with coloring books, I guess she needed the motivation and inspiration from the MH girl! She loves taking the time to color their hair, add the stickers and stencil in fun themes! It is amazing how my little one just sits and gets lost in one picture for hours! She really is far more talented than even I gave her credit for! So yes, I would highly recommend this pack! There is so much here, and as I said, one page keeps my little one busy for over an hour, so it will last for time to come! If your little lady loves Monster High too, and is a creative soul, she will love this art kit as well! My only suggestion, even though Ella does crayons fine with this, I think colored pencils would work far better. :)

Great toy if you're careful with it! . My son received this for his birthday last night and started playing with it today. It's really cute (and I had a blast using it myself), but he's already managed to get it dirty, and you can't wash the mat if anything gets on it (grease, dirt, etc...) It recommends ages 3 and up, and I have to agree as my son just turned 2 and I think he's a little young, though he's definitely having fun with it.

My daughter loves this! . I bought my daughter the aquadoodle basic mat last year. She has used it profusely. The best part is that it dries within about 5 minutes and you can reuse it right away. My daughter isn't very careful with the pen, and we are still on the first one. Don't buy the stamp pad with the shapes though. The shapes have to be soaked to actually work and they only will work once each time you wet it.

Enjoyable by everyone . I bought this for my 3 year old and not only did he enjoy (and still enjoy) playing with it - but my 10 year old twins also enjoy playing with it with him. And so far - it seems to be able to withstand 3 boys playing with it and not destroying it.

Fun! . This is a great aquadoodle. Sings cute farm songs and is fun to play with. I like to play with this one as much as my kids. The sides of it show you how to draw animals, etc which I thought was really cute. The only way they could improve it is to give you more than one pen for it but of course, you have to buy those separately and they are expensive. A great toy though and love that there is no mess at all. Wish I had invented this one!

Great for little ones!!! . My 2 year old loves this toy!! It is terrific for mom and dad too as you do not have to watch every move they make, it is only water!!! And the inventor of this must have had children, the special "pen" opens opposite of most things(you turn it to the right to open and left to close) and so far my 2 year old has not figured this out (and I see him trying to open it)
I agree with the review on the roller stamp (with stars and hearts etc) We could not get this to work effectively so my little one prefers to stick with the pens.

The Best thing for young kids . Okay, first off I don't have this. But my little cousin got it for his 2 birthday, and LOVED it. He got the one where you just draw, but he loved it. He even ingnored his other presents because he wanted to play with it. One of the best parts is that it is onley water, so they can't ruin the carpet, or shirts, or other toys. A cool part is that it dries up, so you can start it over again.

Granddaughter Loves it! . My 2 year old granddaughter loved the Aquadoodle. It's fun to play with and it is educational as well.
