Buy this product! . My children did the Illustory kits for years but once they got a little older, they wanted a little bit more and this kit is perfect. You can still do drawings with your stories but this kit lets you use photos and stickers (some already come in the kit) and stamps and scrapbook and art materials--just about anything they want to jazz up the pages. We've made books for friends as a birthday gift, we did a travelogue of our last vacation and we've even used them to make an end-of-the-year yearbook for the teacher (everyone wanted a copy!). This kit is so cool and unique--there are hundreds of uses for it!

Great Product Great Company . I used this product to create a book for my sister's baby shower. It was a big hit. The customer service of this company was amazing, they were always very quick to respond and very willing to work with me to create an amazing book. I have been telling all of my friends with children that they need to buy this product or one of the many others from Creations By You. You will not be disappointed with your purchase, the end product looks like a professionally produced book.

Perfect! . When I told my mom I wanted to write an autobiography and have it published into a "real" book, she got this kit for me.
It was perfect!
Photostory Jr. is like Illustory, except that you can use stickers and photos and can write a little more. You can still draw things, though.
All materials needed are included, except for the photos (of course).
I highly recommend this kit.

Great outlet for creativity and a digital camera . My daughter begged for a digital camera and we finally gave her one two Christmas' ago. Since then, she has taken hundreds of pictures... that have stayed right in her digital camera! It has been frustrating to see nothing much done with this expensive present. Until PhotoStory that is! Not only did PhotoStory give my daughter an outlet for her photos (she made a book from photos of our family vacation) but it included a really helpful guidebook to teach her how to take better photos, including lots of fun ideas for photos; I even got some tips from this book. She made the book herself online and said the website was really fun and easy to use. The finished hardback book is beautiful and now we have a memory book from our vacation we will treasure forever! One last thing I really liked about this product is that I can give it as a gift, unlike other photo book products online; I've already ordered one for my nephew.

An absolute nightmare . This item caused nothing but frustration for our family. Photos were extremely slow to upload and frequently didn't upload at all. Time after time we would get error messages that had no explanation. Other times, for reasons that cannot be fathomed, the uploading program would grab the wrong image. We had to contact their customer service to try and figure out how to log in and work on our project, since it took many, many hours and couldn't be done in a single sitting. Turns out they never bothered to email us the ID that we needed to log on, and never would have if we hadn't contacted them. Eventually, after several days and countless hours of mostly failed attempts to upload photos, and numerous email exchanges with their customer support to get our project working correctly, we were nearly finished. Then their website flipped out on us once again and lost our entire project, which we were unable to recover. My wife was utterly furious.In their defense, the company did respond to all our emails, but their seemingly earnest efforts to improve our experience often made little difference.This is a badly managed service that walks a fine line toward sheer incompetence. If you are looking to make a book of cherished memories, do yourself a huge favor and look elsewhere. Trust me when I say you do not want this headache.I would also be suspicious of the other, glowing, review of this product. It reads very much like a plant to me. It's quite easy for someone who works for the company to purchase the product from Amazon in order to get the "Amazon Verified Purchase" designation and make their review seem more credible.
