Kids of all ages love these . I have a 9-year-old and a 14-year-old and they were both intrigued by these; don't know why. Just don't let toddlers get them because they'll think that they're candy. Good for a birthday present for any gender, any age.

You can have lots of fun with these and do a lot of experiments like freeze them and microwave them and burn them and put one in a bowl of water and put 2 in a bowl of water and poke them with a toothpick and weigh them on a scale and bounce them high and roll them and dry them out and roll them in paper. What you do with them is up to you. ARE THEY FROM MARS!

Very Entertaining!! No matter how old you are! . I highly recommend that this be given to kids who are in grade school because of the small parts. The younger kids may try to eat this! However, my 8 year old son loves this product! He brought it out over the New Year's get together we had, and all of our friends kids were all over it! They kept begging for some extras to take home and they had so much fun simply feeling the squishiness of the marbles. What I loved about them playing playing with them, was that they were thinking of different things that they could do with them! They brainstormed for so long that they forgot to shoot the fireworks! So, all in all this product is wonderful in so many aspects!

Fun . These little things are a blast! I also ordered clear ones for my son and it's cool how transparent they are in the water......it's like they're not even there! Yes I would buy them again.
Very cool . I bought this as a xmas present for some co-workers and they love it. It's been 3 months now and we still mess with it and recently added some of the balls to play with the Sea Monkey's I gave another co-worker.
Fun but... . I bought these for two of my nephews for Christmas. They are very cool, and captivated the attention of all the kids from ages 3 to 10. But, after you see them "grow" the first time, they are really kind of useless after that. If you take them out of the water they shrink back to their orginal state. You can do that over and over again.

great educational toy . My seven year old son is very into experiments and this one was perfect! He got to watch as the marbles grew, add colors, play with them and take them out and let them shrink! What a great idea!
