Dim sum yum! . Well, obviously, these erasers are not edible, but they sure look yummy! My daughter and I collect novelty erasers (something which I've been doing since my childhood and am now sharing with my kindergartner). We own many of the Iwako novelty erasers sets. They are one of the best makers of novelty erasers - the details are amazing compared to the other brands. They may be more expensive but you certainly get what you pay for. We get ours from a neighborhood Japanese grocery store. These erasers are modeled on the Chinese dim sum delicacies - 2 baskets of dim sum, a plate of dumplings, a plate of fried rice, 2 bowls of noodles, and 4 chopstick sets. Like all other Iwako erasers, the pieces can be taken apart and put together again, which keeps my child entertained. They are small enough that they can also be used in creative play, in dollhouses, etc.

Fun Eraser Set! . I ordered this Japanese eraser set from Amazon and it came just as described. For those of you who have never seen Japanese erasers, they are incredibly detailed. For instance, one of the cones from this set shows not only the waffle patter on the cone itself, but also the swirl pattern from a twist machine on the ice cream. As a warning to parents with small children, each eraser often comes apart into separate pieces, making them a severe choking hazard. For instance, the ice cream cones in this set, which are each about 1 inch long, easily comes apart between the ice cream and the cone. It is meant to do this, so of course, it also easily goes back together again.

Our girls play with them with their dolls, and imaginatively in other ways. Ironically, I actually have no idea how they work as erasers...

REALLY Cute . Santa brought a few of these for our little girls stockings; they are really cute. If you are looking at buying this product buy it don't listen to all the other silly reviews becasue they didn't read the description right. When I got them I loved them and allthough I didn't get all the ones I wanted I still was very happy about this. Also if you are looking for authentic japanese erasers they come from Japan. If you are looking foward to this go ahead and buy them before the price goes up. I reccomend this product very highly. If you are looking for Japanese erasers these are the best deal.

Cheaper in Japan. . I live here in Japan, and have for 26+ years. You can buy these erasers here 3-5 per package for around a dollar. Ten would run you 2-3 dollars at the most. But I guess you have to make a profit somehow.....

Iwako erasers . I bought it for kids, they had great fun. Nice colors. Price is ok, but could be less for the offered quality. Breaks easily

Read the Item Description Carefully people! . I agree with the other positive reviews - it isn't the products fault that people don't read the fine print. As erasers I wouldn't bother - these things are so neat I wouldn't want to ruin them - I ordered this for an art project where I needed tiny food - they held up nicely to the five layers of clear coat I applied and dried into much harder, plastic feeling things - it was absolutely perfect. I looked all over town trying to find a place that sold "doll house food" and what I did find was insanely priced - these are great - affordable, low shipping, and for a product from Japan these arrived at my door super fast. I got a varied assortment with no doubles, would def order these again for a future project.

Warning! These are NOT Scented! . My son was looking for some scented erasers, so I searched for "smelly erasers" in Amazon. These came up in the search and so we ordered them. While they are awfully cute, they ARE NOT scented! Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars.

i wasnt happy . i tryed to cancel this order after i read carefully that it was only 10 randomly picked erasers. i ending up getting doubles and none of them were the ones i originally wanted. to return them would cost half as much as buying them so i kept them but i was really upset about this

cheap erasers . I was very disappointed when I received this packet of erasers. I didn't know that I would only get 10. So, I practically wasted my money for my son. The picture showed at least 20 individual erasers. Although it did say 10 (after reading it now), the photo should represent what the buyer is going to get. As my son said, "I think that getting ten erasers is super dumb".

Another Piece of Cake Please. . The Japanese are not renowned for their baking talent. But they sure make a beautiful eraser desert tray. The donuts are exact. The cake slices tempting. Each eraser is about an inch across in diameter. Durable. So beautiful you would not dare to actually use it as an eraser.

Erasers that dont erase . Well, they're Japanese erasers. My ten year old son says all the kids at school are collecting them and he just had to have some. Each eraser breaks up into little sub-pieces(this is not a defect but on purpose.) Unfortunately, they don't really erase very well. Cool to have currently, but when the fad ends, you'll be left with some expensive, useless rubber.

These novelty erasers by Iwako are simply delicious to look at and play with! . I've been collecting novelty erasers since I was a child, and have now passed on my passion for collecting to my kindergartner. We are fortunate to live near a Japanese grocery store that carries many of the Iwako eraser sets. My daughter loves the food-themed Iwako erasers the best since she uses them for her creative play - fairies' tea party/picnic, dollhouse play, etc. They look like real-life miniature desserts and are simply a joy to play with and behold. I try to get two sets of each - one for playing with, and one for collecting:)

I Bought These for MYSELF! ;) . My kids and I are collecting these erasers, which is a lot of fun for us. I bought this set for myself- I love desserts, but can't eat them- these are so cute!

Super-Cute Erasers; Great For Party Favors Too! . I'm totally in love with the little duck erasers in this set. They're every bit as cute and detailed as they appear to be in the picture. The frogs are... well, a great deal cuter than most erasers out there, but aren't quite the level of adorable the ducks are. Both, however, accurately match the photo.

Like all Iwako erasers, these seperate into three or four different pieces; this is seemingly more a practical detail of manufacturing the multiple colors, than anything else. My kids have a few of the other erasers, and just love them for the cute characters. My three year old was appalled by the idea of using them as erasers when I told her that's what they were.

We bought this particular set as favors for our girls' upcoming party, and I think they'll be a fantastic and unique little addition to the gift bags. Very cool little item, never a disappointment. I love that they are made in Japan, rather than China. I can definitely see acquiring more of these down the road!

cute . Though a little pricey I did enjoy this as a pinata filler for my two year old's birthday party. Instead of loading the pinata candy these were one of the things we had for the kids. They are very cute!

the lousiana swamp erasers . These are the best erasers yet! I wish the whole world could have these.... Well I think these will be very helpful. Instead of buying $5.00 pink erasers buy these for only a Dollar! No they do not sell these at dollar tree. But if you want to go eraser picking then here are some places: Kid snips,Hallmark,dupage county fair. And if you go to walgreens then they sell crazerasers. But crazerasers are illigal fakes!
