Great Gift for Year after Year . My daughter received a scratch art kit last year and she truly enjoyed it. Although it has no real "educational" value it allows any level of "artist" the flexibility to be creative. Even just a simple line or doodle looks majical after making the mark. I am again buying a kit for my daughter's birthday and an extra to save as a birthday gift to have on hand for the next birthday party we're invited too! You will NOT be dissappointed.

better for the under 10 crowd . I recall enjoying this project as a child in school. My sister gave this item to my daughter for her birthday last week. She loved it. It is a bit different from the cheapos at the dollar tree (refer to last review). This comes with a variety of colorful envelopes, that the paper actually fits into when folded. The scratch off paper comes in different colors (beneath the black scratch off stuff too). There is gold, silver, flourescent, and rainbow. My Daughter just loved picking thru the colors and selecting a particular one for her creation. She also used the simple stencils that came with it. It was easy for her to use, it was a "blank canvas" for her to be creative, and we mailed the suckers away when she was done with them (so they aren't cluttering up my house :). She enjoyed sending mail to her friends, and there is a social studies aspect to these, and the educational value of learning how to address and send a letter. Also, fine motor skills and creativity.

Scratch=Art Kit . Why do parents think all toys must be educational? My daughter loves this. I bought it for her artistic ability. She loves to draw, I love to teach her to draw, and this scratch art is a childs way to express themselves. Besides learning, there is also FUN, and art is an important element in our lives. Buy it, if they love to draw, then they will enjoy this.

Lots of fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . I got this kit and it is not at all boring.The bad reviews are wrong.They must not have a love for art like some kids do!
You can make cards and a lot of different things with this.
I reccomend this for a child who likes art!

P.S.-Older kids like it too[I AM 12 YEARS OLD AND STILL LIKE IT}!

nice but overpriced . my 5 year old daughter loved it, but it last 3 days in her hands, let's face it, this is too expensive for a set of 25 sheets of paper. From the previous reviews I thought that there would be more to it than just paper, but there isn't. Again, it's nice, but it's just paper, I would rather put my money in something she could use more.

Great for kids of all ages! . My grandkids love this product. I bought several for the kids ranging in ages from 8 through 16 and they all love it.

Was a great gift! . The stationary was a great gift for an 8 year old. For its purpose it lasts for a while. She seemed excited to have it. Didn't actually get to see in it because she didn't use it around me but I think it would be fun to have to draw pictures in or write notes.

The truth of scratch art . This toy is non-educational and most kids find it boring.When my art teacher brings out the scratch art all the kids groan.Go to the Dollar Tree and buy it cheap if you really want it!

Where To Buy Nail Art Salon Set

Impressed . I ordered this for a 4 year old girl for Christmas. I had a $20 limit and wanted something that was of good quality. After reading reviews of different products, this is the one I chose. After she opened her gift we started to play with it right away. I was impressed with the quality of the polish. I thought that it would be very cheap and barely cover our nails but that wasn't the case at all. There were also nail pens that were very fun to play with. We used them to put each letter of my cousin's name on her nails. The pens wrote so clearly. Included was a good number of stickers to put on your nails but only enough jewels for one person.
The problem is after playing with the pens for 30 minutes both were broken. They have a very small metal tip that the polish comes out of and is very cheaply made.

Overall we were very impressed with this child's gift. If you are extremely careful with the nail polish pens everything will be great!

9 year old and friends love it! . My daughter loves this set. Its very well made, the nail polish isnt cheap and it stays on the nails nicely. Shortly after I purchased it for her, a group of her friends came over for a play-date. She painted all 8 girls and still has polish left over. The colors are perfect for any young girl, and the sizes are right for her to do it by herself. The only complaint are the stickers, but those never seem to stick on anyones nails out of any set I have ever gotten. Get this for any girl 7-12 and I am sure they will love it!

Kids loved it . I got this for my 7 year old for her birthday, knowing I'd have to help her with it. The product is good quality, and although she definitely wouldn't be able to do it (well) on her own, with my help she and her 4 year old sister got fabulous manicures. The stickers lasted a day or two, but I wouldn't expect much more on kids hands. All in all it exceeded my expectations.

Nail Art Review . This Nail Art was a gift for my Niece's 7th Birthday. She absolutely loved it! We used it that very night and my brother has told me about helping her to redo her nails since then. He actually does a better job than I do, he's a single dad!

able to do it herself . My grand daughter loved doing her own nails. I was able to enjoy seeing her being creative. She likes to have craft time and this is well suited for a 6 year old.

She loves it! . Gave to my granddaughter for Christmas and she was thrilled. She's a very fem little girl and I can't buy her enough girly junk like this. As long as she's happy, I'm happy.

Cons Review

In my daughter's words . My six year old daughter says it's "very good" because of "the little pointy thing that comes with paint that you can shake and make little designs" on your nails, and "your children may like it" because "your parents or your grandparents can give it to you". Also "there's a little baggie that comes with it to put the nail things in it".
