Beautiful Easel! . This is a wonderful easel which I am sure my granddaughter will enjoy. It is very sturdy, made of smooth and strong wood. The storage baskets on the bottom will be quite useful. I bought it because it will adjust upwards in height for a couple more years. My only concern was that it has no way to attach a loose piece of art paper (not from the roll), but found that chip-bag clips will fit and hold a paper very well. Except for one issue, assembly was quite easy. The one problem was the four screws which cannot be reached with a regular screwdriver. I happened to have an off-set screwdriver which was successful, but one would either need a very short (2 inch) long screwdriver or an offset one to insert four of the screws required for assembly. Just allow extra time to solve this problem. I have not yet given my granddaughter this gift, so cannot say how the chalk board or dry erase boards will perform.

Im Impressed! . I am so impressed with this easel. Most of the easels i was looking at were made for smaller kids. My 9 year old had asked santa for an easel for christmas.I am so glad that i settled on this one. Very sturdy and the hieght is adjustable.She loves it!

Worth It even with a flaw . After doing all my shopping based on reviews I thought I should write my own as it is the right thing to do. I received the easel for my son's 5th birthday. I asked my father to put it together so we could carry it out to him at present time. There was a tiny crack in one of the boards (trimwork) that a touch of elmer's glue easily fixed. The overall sturdiness of this easel is great. Several parents commented about how nice this was compared to ones they had purchased their children. I loved that it was made from quality wood. I had no problem with the bins underneath that were mentioned in some other reviews. In fact I was impressed with them not just laying across, but the actually have a slot they sit in that they won't just get knocked out easily. There is plenty of room for storage, in the bins and on the trays for holding paint/chalk. The storage bins are made of some material/canvas like and may rip if too much weight is in them. But the two larger bottom ones hold my gigantic cats just fine! lol I would highly recommend this product!
For convenience sake . I bought this easel for my 3 year old granddaughter. I just did not want to go out shopping and lug this big of an item around. She was thrilled with the item but on Christmas Day when her dad opened the box one of the containers was smashed. I hope the company will replace it without an hassle. We'll see.
Great Investment! . When i first got it, yes, as the other review states that the box was all beaten up it looked like a return item sold to me, but when i opened it it was all in its place, to asemble it was easy except the trays!!! it took me 15 minutes to do just that, overall this item is great and very much worth it, we will enjoy it for years to come!
easy to put together . Got this art easel for my 2 1/2 year old. She LOVES it! It was pretty easy to put together,and I love all the baskets underneath. It holds all her coloring books, colors, paint, etc...with room to grow. She is big enough to use it now but I am sure it will last for years to come. Great easel for the price.
Perfect easel the kids love it!!! . The kids enjoy it even the adults!! However I put the pieces together and the the bins at the bottom do not fall into place because the easel seems to be to close together. Which does not seem right because there are two metal fold pieces you place on the easel (one on each side) to not enable the easel to open more than it should. They are extended flat and still the bins at the bottom from one end do not fall into place.
made very poorly . The easel is not made out of wood, it is made from pressed cardboard. It is not a durable toy and not worth the money I paid for it. I would suggest not buying this.
Great Product! . I ordered this easel for my 5 year old. She uses it daily and the storage is perfect! The size is very generous and will work for her for years to come--a great investment!
Good product...but..... . My kids are really enjoying the product and I found the quality to be fairly decent. The product came broke from shipping or packaging. One of the wood pieces was split, and although I was able to fix this with a small screw, it should not have been.
One the product was fixed and all together, I am pretty happy with it. Good storage and it is sturdy enough. I would recommend this product for children between the ages of 5 and 11.
