Okaaay however... . We purchased this stencil kit for our 4 year old daughter because she has only one other stencil that is plastic, really thin, with mutiple shapes cut out of it which she uses almost EVERY SINGLE DAY. So we thought this box of stencils would add some variety for her. I love that these stencils are wooden. They come in a sturdy box and are thick and sturdy themselves. There are two things I would improve: 1. Some of the designs have angles that even a pencil tip cant get into- those should be replaced with better designs 2. The little stencil squares are difficult for little hands to keep steady while also trying draw in the stencil or color in the stencil. It would be great if the company would create a better stencil holder or something. The company does include some precut to size paper that can be fit into the top of the box which has little gaurd rails that the stencils can be pressed against, but my daughter doesn't want to be confined to using only that paper nor do we want to be required to cut paper to fit into the box top everytime.I believe these are the reasons our daughter doesn't use this stencil kit nearly as much as she did that cheap plastic one with the limited number of shapes on it. With all that in mind, I only gave three stars over all.
