300 Pcs 3" Origami Folding Paper (Multiple Colors) Reviews
Kyowa Origami Paper . Origami is a lot more than just paper cranes. I've done origami since I was a kid, and I've probably made less than 10 cranes in my life. If you look at the picture on the right, you can see where my time devoted to origami creations goes to.
The paper I used for those boxes are 75mm x 75mm (75mm is a little less than 3 inches for those in America) pieces of Kyowa Origami paper that I found in some Japanese store for $1.99.
300 pieces are included in the pack. The sheets are thin, and they fold and crease easily. There are 15 different colors, including 1 gold and 1 silver piece. Each box in the picture uses a total of 8 pieces of paper (4 for the base, 4 for the lid). If you only make boxes, you would be able to make 37 boxes with 4 pieces left over, which would last you a while.
Some of the colors aren't exactly appetizing: brown, grey, faded blue. But special combinations can turn out to be magnificent creations. As a kid, I was used to even smaller sheets of paper, but this size makes the more advanced folds easier.
Origami is great for impressing your [female] friends and for killing time on the road. I've gone through the liberty of linking the same exact product on Amazon below. If you want instructions on folding boxes, go search for "Origami Boxes" on www.Scribd.com (check out the RateMeister review). The boxes pictured above are a lot harder to assemble than you think, especially with smaller pieces of paper. Give it a try, and have fun folding!
